Unfortunately no, the latest version of lcpdfr was compatible with gta version 1.0.7.0. The Complete Edition is newer that that

So there is no chance of a final update to LCPDFR? because I have no storage for GTA V (almost 100GB now!) and TBH i prefer the GTA IV map. 

understand my friend me too disappointed

but update come from Rockstar studio and steam platform

no support any mod include LCPDFR

if you try to install any mod game crash

no working downgrade GTA IV

no working try to copy/paste scripthook and other stuff

GAME OVER

keep GTA IV Complete Edition without any mod

or

go to GTA V

yeah i've just purchased a new SSD, suppose GTA V is worth the upgrade but GTA IV will be missed!

**UPDATE** A huge thanks to LMS for making LCPDFR continue to work. It's much appreciated!  We can continue to patrol the roads in Liberty City!

 

does your els work? whenever i try to launch with els i get a scripthook error for lcpdfr

I'm having hell getting the game up & running again with so many errors so I've just abandoned it - LCPDFR was fun while it lasted 😞 

 

I don't think ELS is made for the scripthook version because it's a patched version of it so you may have to wait for ELS to update.

That's honestly such a shame, I don't know what it is but i just can't move on from gta iv to gta v. its just not the same. the physics are so much better in this game too

I agree with everything there, GTA V is pathetic compared to GTA IV. The detail (swinging traffic lights in the rain, tripping people up on stairs, shopping bags dropping on the floor if we pushed into somebody...), the physics are pretty bad in GTA V , even the story was lacking a proper story.  What was R* thinking with GTA V?  

 

At least the base LCPDFR works now (well I still get millions of game errors) so we can just about continue to patrol the streets of Liberty City - even if we've got GTX 1080 and Intel i9 and we're on 20 FPS 😂

-Spend about 6 weeks tweaking with the game & windows until it works 👍

Hello, i got a serius problem with LCPDFR. I recently used an old code and download GTA4 COMPLETE EDITION fron Rockstar Games launcher i tried a couple of times to install LCPDFR but nothing. I open the game and when i press Alt+P nothing happens. I download the manual install of LCPDFR because with the automatic install i used to have a lot of problems with a lot of file errors. Please help me i'm got sad, i'm trying 6 hours now.....😞

Hi, you might be missing a  Visual C++ Redistributable file - there's always one missing! There are multiple ones to try but start of with installing this one https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632 or https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 if not simply google lcpdfr not working in game  - you'll get it eventually.

 

I have had this happen to me so many times in the past years but I got the right file in the end! Good luck!

 

**Try using the error diagnostics tool that came with LCPDFR. You can find this herei if on steam: \Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV\LCPDFR 'LCPDFR Diagnostics Tool.exe'  This might/might not tell you what's wrong.
