Crash on startup

Featured Replies

Installed GTAV and LSPDFR.  Jumped into the game and made sure everything worked.  Downloaded LML and installed.  Now, when I open the game it crashes on the loading screen.  Downloaded the new game config that a dev suggested to someone else with a similar  problem, but then it tells me I have insufficient memory to run the game.

I've attached some logs, hopefully they help!

 RagePluginHook.log  ModManager.log vfs.log

Your cause is not configured to allocate as much memory as it needs, install this fix here please: https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/heap-limit-adjuster-600-mb-of-heap

Please do not PM me unless really necessary (knowing you helps). If you think you need my attention in a topic, tag me.

Okay, the issue is then not with LML (if you rename version.dll it gets disabled, you can also tell by the different timestamps in the log now). So something else is wrong with your game setup. Do you use a mods folder? You can also try verifying file integrity.

Your logfiles look "correct" now at least! Can you rename version.dll in your game root folder to version1.dll and see if your game launches?

Thanks so much for the help.

I've gotten LSPDFR to load.  I've disabled load plugin on startup and now I manually load it.

However, I'm still getting random crashes like I usually do with the game...Really wish this was a more stable platform.  Has such potential to be an amazing mod!

That should not really be the case, the platform itself is incredibly stable. Are you on the lower end of hardware specs or have any other mods installed?

Nope, not on the lower end at all and it is a fresh install of GTAV/LSPDFR.

Not much I can suggest then unfortunately, except for perhaps seeing if you can narrow it down to one mod.

i have a crash too when i have the files of LMF in my gta folder and the funny thing is it crashes without a warning and the log shows no errors...i tooked me ages to recognize that LMF was responsible for the CTD´s ..i nearly deleted all of the scripts which i had at the end now i know it was completly unnecessary.
