hey i used to play .91 and .95 beta but in RC2 i never encounter world events, like pursuitsi only encourter people rnning and the occassional drunk is this normal?

Random pursuit-in-progress world events are rare but as long as you have rc2-r2 installed they will still happen. I'm pretty sure I've had 3 or 4 since the release of that version.

They're just very rare man, you'll have to wait for one to happen. Really they aren't too different from a suspects fleeing pursuit or a fail to stop pursuit. The only difference is that there's already a number of police units following them and that you can join/leave the pursuit at any time.

They are exciting though, how they just zoom past and you have to spring into action.

Head into your .ini file and look for this line:

MaxNumberOfWorldEvents

I changed my value to:

MaxNumberOfWorldEvents = 10

I now get the occasional pursuit / drunk person
