Harry Callahan 6
Try this one http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/trafficload-f9780 It works with GTA and EFLC Quote 'Do you feel lucky, punk?'
strike 1,581
Try this one http://www.gta4-mods...afficload-f9780 It works with GTA and EFLC For that one you need a pretty good computer, just warning about it. If your game start losing buildings and roads model and textures, will probably caused by it. But if it works right, it's a good mod  Quote released mods
ICJLCSAG 1
Hello. I'm new to LCPDFR and had a question related to this page. I installed a vehicle from this site, an ELS Crown Vic. I loaded the game and "went on duty" and everything seemed to work, the ELS lights were working, the siren, etc, no game crashes... but after a few minutes I got the infimous "taxi glitch", however it was not only spawning taxis, there were also the 'patrol' police cars (R*'s version of the Chevy Impala) and a random SUV (either a Hummer H3 looking default, a Cadilac Escalade looking default or the Chevy K5 Blazer looking default). I've looked through the forums here and youtube to see if I could find an answer but everyone just keeps saying "don't install more than 5 cars to avoid the taxi glitch", but I only had ONE car installed. Then I tried another ELS car thinking that maybe that one car was bugged... same thing... then I thought that maybe it was the ELS so I installed a non-ELS car... same thing. I've since removed the vehicles and everything (to my knowledge) runs fine without the car mods. If someone else had this happen or knows how to resolve it, please tell me. I've looked into the traffic flow type mods, but I don't want to have cars being spawned every 10 or so seconds because 1.) I really don't want to go monkeying with a car spawn mod (I'm not real technical when it comes to programming) and 2.) that would cause MAJOR traffic congestion when I pull someone over and then my game would crash! Can someone help me, or am I stuck with the "evil-ugly-R*-hybrid-default-cars" for the rest of my life? Thanks guys! P.S. - My tazer also never work but I've seen other threads where that's common so I dunno... Other than that I love the LCPDFR mod; you guys should make a new True Crime game and totally bank off of it! Cheers!
7ranzig7 23
You should really just try a traffic flow mod (download Traffic Flow v5 r2 from this site). If you have been able to install lcpdfr, a car and ELS you won't find it hard to install this. And this mod doesn't just spawn 1 car every ten seconds. It makes sure the traffic flows with all different sort of cars. You won't have more troubles with traffic congestions as usual;) Greetz ICJLCSAG
ICJLCSAG 1
Thanks for your input, 7ranzig7. I was hoping there was a quick fix other than using a car spawn mod but if that's what it takes then that's what it takes, only thing is that while a lot of people say the "R2 version" works for them, many others say it gives them texture/building problems and to use a non-R2 version or something like that, ahhhhhhhhhhhh, I hate when things are complicated, I just want to plug in and go! When I click on Download in the TrafficFlow V5 R2 it gives both the R2 version and the regular version... which one do you recommend? Or does it matter? Or what? Sorry if it sounds like I'm dumb or whining, I don't understand what R2 means, I don't want to put the wrong one in... Or maybe since LCPD First Response 0.95 RC2-R2 has the "R2" in it, should I match it with TrafficFlow V5 R2? Does logic like that matter? Ahhhhhhhhh sorry, I hate computers and I just want to make sense of all this... Thanks! :) Edit: Sept. 08, 2012 (2120pacific) I Downloaded TrafficFlow V5 R2 and it seems to work fine. My game is getting a little bit laggy when there's multiple police cars in the same area, but maybe it's just because the cruisers are too high detail or something, I dunno, but it's something I can live with. Thanks so much! :) Taxis are now on my endagered species list! Edited September 9, 2012 by ICJLCSAG
7ranzig7 23
Sorry for my late reaction. I'm glad you figured it out! Ps: Maybe you can lower you're graphic settings just a bit to make the game less laggy when you've got multiple policecars on screen. See yaOh, and you didn't sound dumb to me. I guess R2 means it's best suitable for 0.95 r2, but i really have no idea, lol!
