Police/Sheriff's Department for every region?

Featured Replies

Hey officers! I was just wondering is there a plugin or script that adds extra car slots for more departments. Example: If I was strolling around in Sandy Shores, I would see Sandy Shores PD, If I was in Paleto, I would see Paleto Bay PD, and if I was around Elysian Island, I would see Port Authority.

If there isn't a plugin for extra car slots for regions, I think there should be. It would add to the realism a lot.

Edit: If there isn't a plugin/script. Is there a way to do it manually??

This would in fact be awesome and very realistic also. I too have always wanted different regions covered by their own entity/jurisdiction and one example that seems messed up imo is like the Los Santos Sheriff Dept in Davis, if you make them LSSD they appear in Blaine County and the same if you make BCSO they appear in Los Santos. I think I remember seeing an old mod to do with assigning agencies but it's been so long ago and I just change the liveries whenever I'm playing in different counties.

That's what I have been doing as well.

You'll want to know/learn how to add cars to the game, but Jurisdiction+ allows for that many jurisdictions. It became too much of a headache for me to manage now though, so I'm back to just the default four, LSPD, LSSD, BCSO and SAHP

Thanks!!!!!

Oh trust me I have over 50+ Add-On emergency vehicles all customized to my preferences that relate to my department (just use Los Santos & Blaine County) for more realism, more variety rather than the typical bland per agency. Like I said I just switch between LCSO/BCSO & LSFD/BCFD liveries when I want to change...but thanks for this I shall check it out if it means I can have all agencies in the game at the same time, unless it gives me a headache like yours hahaha.

LSPDFR 0.4 actually has this feature built in. Under Grand Theft Auto V\lspdfr\data you will find agency.xml, backup.xml, regions.xml and a couple of other files serving this exact purpose. And an unlimited number of additional vehicles can be easily installed using Lenny's Mod Manager. I would also recommend installing EUP, Ultimate Backup and then:

This way, you will be able to customize everything way more easily under Grand Theft Auto V\lspdfr\data\custom.
