I have seen many threads like this where people have had ELS problems. I have tried almost ever method and none seem to have worked. I re-installed LSPDFR completely but my add-on cars ELS still doesn't work. I tried the original Police2 (The Buffalo) and the ELS on that works. I have installed everything the way the download says and don't know what the problem is. The brake lights which flash when lights are turned on (by pressing E) are working however no reds or blues are, and neither is the siren. Can someone help?!

PS. One of my packs were actually using the package installer.. I used that and moved the files that I needed to into the right place, and that ELS doesn't work either.

The lights turn on as if they are headlights when I get in the car.

ELS doesn't use E to turn on the lights/siren. If that happens to you, you may have missed the .xml you need to put into /pack_default.
Also, don't forget that ELS Style and "ELS" are different things, in case you downloaded that pack.

 

Can you please send asiloader.log? It's in your GTA V folder.

Looking at that it said " "ELS.asi" failed to load" how can i fix that?

 

Remove ELS (You can keep the ELS folder) and reinstall all of it.

i'll try that now.. even the officers responding in a car from the pack dont have els working.

should I uninstall the ASI Manager, re-install, restart my computer then try?

It's still not loading alright. Delete dinput8.dll; ELS.ini and ELS.asi

Then start the game, close once it loaded fine.

Remove dinput8.dll and reinstall it from the ELS download. 
Make sure it's unblocked, too.

after deleting it this comes up... these are my els files

Yes, put them all in. 
And yes, install AsiLoader & OpenIV.asi.

Also, reinstall ScripthookV.

I don't have Scripthook V, to re-install it, where would it be?

I uninstalled the vehicles and noticed that the siren sound for the base cars doesnt work now 😕

I've done all that, I will load Rage and if it doesn't work I'll send the ASI loader log

Did you ever replace Sirens, like I asked earlier?

Ok so I cant thank you enough. It is now working however do you have any suggestions to make the lights brighter in the day?

also for some reason i don't have the panel in the bottom right for the els

Make sure PostFX & Shader are on Very High / Ultra.

I also recommend the visualsettings file from MVGA.
