This download is intended for LSPDFR 0.3 only. It WILL NOT work with LSPDFR 0.4 or above, don't download it if you use that!

LSPDFR Troubleshooter by Albo1125

This application checks for errors in your LSPDFR and RPH installations. It also checks for & fixes installation errors in my own mods, and various other popular ones.

Most errors can be automatically fixed by this application. If you're experiencing issues, give this a try!

To use: Launch the EXE file. Wait for LSPDFR Troubleshooter by Albo1125 to check for updates. Follow the procedures.

Developers: If you'd like me to add your plugin to the troubleshooter please let me know.

Why did I create this? To help reduce support time for myself and everyone doing so in the support forums and because I like playing with Windows Forms :wink: To help people that are unable to read ReadMe files :teehee:

Current Checklist - depending on selected options:

  • Arrest Manager, LSPDFR+ and British Policing Script now automatically generate their XML file folders. No longer checked for.
  • Updated to recommend RPH 0.45 or higher.
  • ScriptHookV 1.0.877.1
  • RAGENativeUI 1.5.1
  • Fixed issues that occasionally appeared when trying to obtain folder permissions. Clearer self help instructions added.
  • Can now automatically fix registry entries for the GTAV folders upon request.
  • Improved startup help.

Results so far (last updated for v1.11.0.0):

  • 16,990 people have found errors with the troubleshooter.
  • Out of date .NET framework was detected 1,978 times.
  • 5,029 people have been notified of an incompatible RPH version.
  • 507 people were using an out of date version of ScriptHookV.
  • Invalid installation of C++ 2010 redist. x64 SP1 was detected 227 times.
  • Invalid installation of C++ redist for VS 2015 was detected 551 times.
  • Invalid/outdated Windows Media Player was detected 38 times.
  • 484 people joined the RPH discord channel to ask for further assistance.
  • Out of date or invalid RAGENativeUI was detected 384 times.

I'm not currently tracking the other results, but I'm sure many more problems are being solved. If you have any suggestions for other things I can check for, please let me know!

I will keep updating this comment with further results.
