V1.1 Fixed the reported bugs, Added red brakelights, yellow rear indicators(workaround due Gta engine problem. No other way) replaced computer texture, changed siren blue to more blue.
Added vehicle lines in the readme for falling of pushbar problem and spawning without lightbar. thanks to Kilyin.
Made the top antenna’s as extra with the spot.
Corrected the credits. (rims by Fartknockr and Bxbugs)
Laptop/radio by 0Taku. Textures by SpeedySC1978.

(sorry for updating so soon, but solved another bug. all bugs are fixed for now)

V1.5 Fixed wheels from a distant, and now having a moving antenna.

V1.6 Fixed dirtmapping(wheels, and body), added details, like spot handles, dashboard cam mount, fixed a specular problem on the back of the car.

Did you use the sheriff slot and add the car variation meta?

I didn't worry about changing any of that, cause I don't mind that the sheriff cars are spawning as slick tops half the time. But on the other hand, that may explain why the sheriff version's lights are different for me... Both rear window siren lights are red and the front window siren light is all blue.lol I might try to locate the corresponding vehicles.meta and carvariations if I ever feel like it, or get annoyed by the change in emergency lighting...

You can. I have it replaced with FBI but you can't change the liveries only one will show.

Is it possible to get standalone Carvariations.meta and vehicle.meta code for this vehicle so I can add it as an extra car?

I've just downloaded your texture mod and replaced the files in "GTA V/update/x64/dlspacks/patchday3ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf" and replaced police2.yft police2_hi.yft police2.ytd and police2+hi.ytd from the mod folder downloaded.

I can't figure out what this line means "I recommended to Replace as (police2)", i just dragged and dropped the files in edit mode with OpenIV, is this fine ?

After this, while in the game i tried to spawn the vehicle with almost every vehicle available and can't find the dodge charger. I especially tried for the "police2" in the trainer but this is not the dodge charger, what am i doing wrong ?

It means that any other models replaced you'll need to edit the carvariations.meta and vehicles.meta file in order for it to work with in other police slots. So this model he made is for police2 and that everything will work fine in police2 slot.

 

If you just dragged and drop it, you're good to go. 

It probably did not replace the police2 when you drag and dropped the files.

Ok well, i'm retrying this one. I first deleted those police2 files in OpenIV and then drag&dropped the file to replace. This is now downloading 2Go and i'll try it after it's fnished.

In the case it's not working what should i do ? Where are carvariations.meta and vehicles.meta and what to do with 'em ?

If you are wanting to replace it with a different slot like fbi slot, you'll need to extract the carvariations.meta and vehicles.meta and open it in notepad and take the police2 carvariations copy and past it to the fbi and the vehicles.meta I believe you wont need to do anything with it.  I currently have this charger in the fbi slot and haven't changed any carvariations or vehicles.meta file. It's working fine for me.  Someone might know more about this. But make sure you create a backup file of the two files before editing them.

I finally made it works for the charger ! Thanks again for your help.

For the future i'm looking to "simply" add vehicles instead of replacing models existing already, do you know a tutorial for this one ?

I've re-edited the installation instruction so it is easier to understand so check it out. All the credits belong to the author, of course. Hope it helps.

I got it to use liveries in fbi slot before but using that you'd have to use mpchristmas2 for a carvariations meta/vehicle meta in order for that to occur or else it would end up just black or subdued.

anyone know the backup.xml details I would need for <Vehicle extra_????=true> to force the car to spawn with the aggressive wraparound pushbar?(sorry dont know the name of it)

Look, I really liked the design of this vehicle, so much that I downloaded and did the installation as sends the file "readme", there you are told to add the files "police2" in the "patchday4ng / dlc.rpf / x64 / levels / GTA5 / vehicles.rpf "even if there is no existing files in this folder to replace. I did this, and soon after, when I went to open the launcher, started a download of 512 MB, I wonder if that was to happen? If I did the right process, how can I find the car in the game? Sorry my "English," is that my language is Portuguese!

I'm assuming that there is some texture on the lightbar and the dash and back lights to make them look like the LEDs vs the stock gta emergency lights. I am getting a strange glitch though with the front dash light (similar to a glitch I had with the traffic advisory lights where they would disappear randomly and come back after moving the vehicle like an inch) But with the front dash lights randomly as I drive and stop they will flicker unnaturally and sometimes get stuck in like the default gta style I'll show below in some screen(s). I'm also asking because there is a similar issue with PimDSLRs Explorer with the front dash lights and if we could figure it out here or there it could fix the issue with both vehicles.

You can see in this case the right red dash light is working as intended but the left blue one is stuck in the default/pushbar style flashing. If I walk around the vehicle I can sorta make the texture flash back in place for a second I'm not sure if it has something to do with like a dip in the road that's causing the texture to go like behind the light and not appear or something.

I believe for the full wrap around push bar it's extras 3 and 4 (3 is the pushbar and 4 is the wraparound bit)

Can someone help me. It says install in (mods)/patchday4ng/dlc.rpf......... What are the paths between the mods folder and patchday4ng? Just don't want to mess up the installation

Maybe or if that doesn't work maybe 2 seperate lines like:

<Vehicle extra_3=true>

<Vehicle extra_4=true>

I'm not 100% sure on that one I haven't really played around with the backup.xml much more than just setting the various vehicles called in yet.
