hmmm thought it was the visual setting file sorry cant figure this one out.

So can someone tell me why my car is doing this and how to fix it

I downloaded the file, replaced the sheriff2 files in OpenIV and nothing changes ingame, the only thing that changes is the color of the granger which is completely black.

I've tried 3 times, followed your instructions but nothing, please update your readme file to how to do it properly

change the files in \update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf "ALL FILES"

and

/x64e/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf "ONLY THE" sheriff2.yft,sheriff2.ytd and sheriff2_hi.yft

see if that helps you.

Not working ,always the same

Maybe a extra file you over looked? If not get the default and try to port it in again or delete all sheriff2 files and port in the modded files to those locations. 

I had the same problem on the first release.

I don't use the model as a standalone if that helps.

it is the sheriff lights texture replace them with this one in each ytd file

what do you mean it works for everyone else do you mean when you open the ytf file it is empty that is normal im pretty sure its because the model is locked but not sure

Yes the model is locked for GTA5 but there is a link for the GTA4 model on gtapolicemods.com by bxbugs123 for anyone to convert to GTA5 with Zmodeler

The first update was the only time I changed the template. I had missed a few spots on the vehicle, and it just didn't look right. Then someone reminded me that I didn't actually update the new template. I should probably clarify that.

If you're talking about when you open the model in OpenIV, it doesn't show anything because the model is locked. They're supposed to be working on an update to fix that, I think. 

I didn't change anything with the Emergency lights, so I have no idea what's going on here.  Dbock might have some input when he gets off work.

Nevermind, I'm an idiot, I forgot to replace sheriff_lights in the +hi.ytd file.

I downloaded the new vehicle, but now when I replace the skin with the old SAHP skin, the skin is not fitted correctly. Anyway in fixing this?

This couldn't understand. first off there's no 'mods' folder. This is just wrong. 

Some people have a "mods" folder setup, if you don't just go to the update folder after you get to GTA V.

You can still see in the video though how the newer v1.2 Tahoe the brake lights blink white instead of red. Same deal when just using the brake lights with no siren.

I updated the template after I made that skin, so it won't work right.  If I have time I'll make another one, unless someone else already has.

may i add a arjent lightbar to model can i edit it? i will credit you

By our own personal preferences and request of Bxbugs123, we're not allowing anyone to have an unlocked model at the moment.  Once we're happy with the base model, we'll go from there.

Do you know why when I use a black texture, its so glossy and looks greyish?

will you be improving the model is it still a WIP?

can you please let us use window tints and add a searchlight?

This model is still very much a WIP.

I've been noticing that, and I'm not really sure. I'll have to experiment with it before the next update.
