LAPD Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

(1 review)

3 Screenshots

This is a basic skin based on the LAPD Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. This is an almost perfect replica apart from the number decals.

(They were taken from actual patrol cars in real life so it's pretty accurate)

Please tell me your thoughts in the comments and yes I know it isn't the correct light bar.

If you would like the model I used to create the skin then click right

Doing LAPD skins is like beating a dead horse... There are at least 10 perfect replica skins right off the top of my head... why not make something unique like Girard Police Department? bet not to many people know where Girard is.

I know its a popular skin but I am a beginner and I am trying to start basic and get better and better. I will look up GPD and see what it is. Never heard of it before!

Cheers guys. I know I am not the best but you have to start somewhere. Its also harder for me to make US skins because I am in the UK were all the cars are the same.

The thing that matters is you're trying. Feedback always help improve your skills unless it from someone like

I think it's pretty good considering it's your second skin, the white/black edges are good and don't "bleed" over, a good "technical" skill.

I'm sorry but I really have to say this. This skin is not really

Again, you tried. Try looking up the fonts and whatnot.

Its hard to get fonts from state police departments because most of them are custom made and can't be found on things like Photoshop, which is what I use. I have also searched the internet but so far haven't found anything similar.

Thanks, I know the windows aren't meant to be that way but I can't find a way to change them. If you know tell me.

Paint inside the window section, like so.

Do you mind if you could get me the full image of the template? I will use it as a guide.

Pretty good skin considering you just started. Just the lightbar is wrong btw. And corner colored strobes in the headlights.

This is just as good as the other LAPD skins I've seen. Ignore the haters bud.

For a beginner, I'll give you full marks for it 5/5

Better than the first skin I ever made anyway.

Your skins are way more accurate than mine. But thanks for the support. Can you maybe give me some pointers on how to make better skins? Also how to change lightbars because I can't figure it out!?!?

Nice. Keep up the good work! I love it.

You're going the right way, keep it up! I have made a lot of ugly skins when i started with skins, now i can even do models.

The practice makes the master, keep it up!

As the black and white colour 'interface' (couldn't think of a better word) is one of the more tricky things to do you have pulled it off quite well.
