Been using this for a week now, it adds that touch of realism. Nicely done!

Would it be possible to have it play a different, second sound when the door's open AND the headlights are on? Most modern vehicles' general warning chime will chime faster if the lights are on when the key's removed and the door's open.

I also might make a mod of the sound for different vehicles, most post-'10 Fords use a 3-tone jingle as its general warning chime.

I tried to reproduce it but it works fine for me.

Did you already try to reinstall the modification?

Paste all files into the scripts folder and replace them and also replace the EXTRAS.ivaud.

If it still doesn't work, please let me know if the same happens if you use older versions.

A reinstall fixed this somehow. Either way, it works now once again, and it's cool! haha

I had downloaded this and for some reason I can't change the door sound and Extra's won't go into SparkIV either. Can someone help me out?? Really like the mod please keep up the good work :)

Just need to add if headlights on it speeds up. :D

This is great. One thing that I'd like to see, my agency has the Drive chime disabled. Meaning if a door is open while in anything other than park, it doesn't chime. All we have is the door ajar single chime when the door is first opened.

I've encounter and issue, it plays however instead of playing a nice chime it plays a quieter lower version of the Police vehicle's horn.

I keep getting an error when the game starts and the chime wont work

It doesn't work every car just makes this weird buzzing noise

My chime keeps beeping even when the doors are closed. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks

It works all you do is place the scripts in the scripts file and get OPEN IV or SPARK IV go to resident.rpf open the folder and replace extras by changing the name in the file that DOOR Chime Comes with instead of EXTRAS.ivaud change it to EXTRAS then replace it will work/

I know this is old, But thanks for doing this mod, It's makes the game feel much realistic 😄
