PlateWatch Advanced Standalone ALPR System for LSPDFR Beta 1.0.0

(0 reviews)

1 Screenshot

PlateWatch is a standalone Automatic License Plate Reader plugin for GTA V LSPDFR, built to add a detailed and customizable plate-scanning system to your patrols.

The system scans vehicles in front of and behind your police vehicle, displays their license plates using authentic GTA V plate styles, and checks each vehicle for active violations. When a flagged plate is detected, PlateWatch displays a compact ALPR hit window containing the plate, registered owner, vehicle information, violation, location, time, date, and alert status.

PlateWatch features a modern FiveM-style configuration menu that stays on the right side of the screen. Nearly every part of the system can be adjusted in-game, including scan mode, scan distance, alert sounds, volume, repeat-alert delay, UI texture, and keybinds.

Features

  • Front and rear license plate scanning

  • Front-only, rear-only, or dual-camera scan modes

  • Authentic GTA V plate textures and styles

  • Stolen vehicle detection

  • Expired and revoked registration alerts

  • Unregistered vehicle alerts

  • Expired, revoked, or missing insurance alerts

  • Scratched VIN detection

  • Manual hotlist and custom BOLO support

  • Ignore list for exempt or testing plates

  • Detailed ALPR hit window

  • Severity-based alert statuses

  • Recent ALPR hit history

  • Persistent CSV hit logging

  • Eight selectable MDT alert sounds

  • Adjustable alert volume

  • Adjustable flagged-plate repeat delay

  • Two selectable plate-reader UI designs

  • Movable and resizable reader and hit windows

  • Modern FiveM-style settings menu

  • In-game keybind customization

  • Control, Shift, and Alt modifier support

  • Automatic settings, texture, and list reloading

  • Lightweight standalone LSPDFR integration

PlateWatch is designed for players who want a clean, realistic, and highly configurable ALPR experience without installing a complete patrol-management suite.

Hey I really love the concept; however, it could really use some polishing to make it better.
- Every time I try to change my keybind in the ini file, the keybind is overwritten back to Numpad0, no matter whether I change the bind inside or outside of the game.
- The plate text is super weirdly formatted and doesn't really look too realistic in my opinion. I'd really love to see more realistic lettering for the San Andreas plates. Also would be cool to see it actually fit inside of the plate image instead of being too large to do so.
- It would be cool to see not only a modifier key for the menu, but also the ability to toggle the ALPR on and off. That's how it works IRL, would really love to see it implemented here as well.
- When a plate is detected, it would be cool to hear a little beep sound effect or something. Perhaps even the ability to choose from a selection of different sound effects would be neat to see.

That's all of my suggestions/feedback. Not too bad of a plugin, just needs a bit more help to make it even better. This was one of my favorite features from PatrolSuite back when I was using it, and also from FiveM communities I watch, so it's very nice to see someone implementing it as a standalone plugin.

Also, in case anyone was curious what the UI looks like in its current state, here's a picture of it with the default settings:

Thanks for responding so positively to my feedback - Very glad to see you've implemented some of my suggestions, alongside adding in that ALPR feature! Excited to test it out :D

Alright, just gave the new update a try and honestly, not really too impressed I'm not gonna lie. There's definitely more things that could use some changing with this update. While I am most certainly glad you added in the ALPR, alongside the correct font/color for the plates, I'm concerned there's no button to adjust the volume of the MDT audio, the modifier keys constantly being reset to none + edit key being reset to Numpad0, and the UI not being able to be changed even though there's supposedly two of them in the plugin download. I changed the name from PlateWatchUI - Copy to PlateWatchUI and deleted the default one, but it still went back to the default one in-game.

I've also noticed that whenever there's a car that drives be with a flagged plate, the MDT audio is spammed at least 4-5 times before it stops. Would be nice to be able to adjust the frequency of flagged cars.

But those are the main concerns I've had with the current update. Not bad, but definitely could use some workshopping.

I honestly really agree with this, but I’m trying to figure out how to move the UI around because every time I get into a car it’s in the middle of the screen and it won’t move

How do you move them because literally every time I get into a car it looks like this for me
