Why I Made This

I primarily play LSPDFR Enhanced Career Mode, and one thing always broke the flow of starting a shift.

After spawning at the station, I'd grab my duty bag, head to the vehicle, and then I'd have to stop what I was doing just to open a trainer and manually install performance upgrades. The alternative was spawning a previously saved vehicle, which still added extra steps before I could actually begin patrolling.

I wanted the experience to feel more immersive.

When I get in my patrol car, I want it to already be fleet-ready, just like a real police vehicle would be. No opening a trainer. No manually upgrading the car. No worrying about saving upgraded vehicles.

With MaxPolicingTuning, you simply spawn your patrol vehicle, grab your duty bag, get behind the wheel, and start your shift. The plugin automatically handles the performance upgrades in the background so you can stay immersed and focus on policing instead of setup.

How It Works

The first time you enter a supported police vehicle, the plugin automatically installs the highest available performance upgrades.

Each vehicle is only upgraded once during your game session, preventing unnecessary processing or repeated modification calls every time you enter and exit the same vehicle.

The entire process is automatic, you won't need to press any keys or open any menus.

Installation

1. Download and extract the archive.

2. Copy MaxPolicingTuning.cs and MaxPolicingTuning.ini into your:

Grand Theft Auto V\scripts\

3. Launch GTA V through RAGE Plugin Hook.

That's it. The plugin handles everything automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this modify civilian vehicles?

No. The plugin is designed to work only with supported law enforcement vehicles.

Does it change my vehicle's appearance?

No. It only applies performance upgrades. Suspension remains stock, tires remain normal, and no cosmetic modifications are made.

Does it work with add-on police vehicles?

Yes. The plugin supports vanilla emergency vehicles and detects most popular add-on police vehicle model names. If you use a unique vehicle pack, additional model prefixes can easily be added to the configuration file.
