🛰️ SpeedRadar

Advanced AI-Assisted Traffic Enforcement for LSPDFR

Elevate your highway patrol with SpeedRadar, a lightweight and highly accurate speed detection tool designed for seamless integration with LSPDFR. Developed with the assistance of advanced AI, this plugin provides officers with the essential data needed to identify, track, and intercept speeding motorists with professional-grade precision.

🔹 Core Features

  • Real-Time Raycast Tracking: Instantly detect the speed of any vehicle in your direct line of sight using high-precision tracking logic.

  • Target Locking System: Use the Spacebar to "freeze" a target's current speed and license plate. This allows you to maintain a visual record of the offense while you initiate a pursuit or traffic stop.

  • Visual & Audible Alerts: The radar display automatically changes color (White to Red) and triggers a distinct audio tone when a vehicle exceeds your defined speed threshold.

  • Minimalist HUD: Designed to be non-intrusive, the radar information appears in the standard "Help Text" area to keep your screen clear of clutter during high-speed patrols.

  • Full Customization: A dedicated .ini file allows you to set your own Toggle Keys, Lock Keys, Speed Limits, and choose between MPH or KPH.

🎮 Controls (Default)

  • Toggle Radar: I (Enable/Disable the system)

  • Lock/Unlock Target: Spacebar (Capture speed and plate data)

⚙️ Installation

  1. Ensure you have RAGE Plugin Hook and LSPD First Response installed.

  2. Drag the Plugins folder into your main Grand Theft Auto V directory.

  3. Navigate to Plugins/LSPDFR/SpeedRadar.ini to customize your settings.

  4. Launch GTA V via RagePluginHook and go On Duty.

📋 Requirements & Credits

  • LSPD First Response (0.4.9 or higher)

  • RAGE Plugin Hook (1.85 or higher)

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2

Is there an in game screen shot of what the radar looks like? Instead of just using a Gemini generation.

If the screenshot resembles in game footage then I be downloading this and keeping in my game. Let’s hope that the game footage is like the screenshot

No it isn't. I initially made this for a friend and i was just sharing it. I think im going to remake it and it will be more complex. I will try to see about getting an actual radar too. appreciate the comment.

Sorry, it's not. I made this for a friend intially and was just sharing it in case people wanted it. Im going to remake it and make it more advanced and hopefully with an actual radar. Thanks for the comment.

Hello,
I have some feedback:

  1. As others have pointed out, I find the mod thumbnail misleading, especially since there isn't a gameplay screenshot showing the actual display. So here's one:The vehicle speed and plate is displayed in the top left corner of the screen (as a Help text)

  2. The area in which vehicles are detected seems small; it would be nice to have a larger area.

  3. The installation instructions are unclear :
If I drop the "plugins" folder (from the zip) inside my game directory, the plugin files will be in "plugins/" instead of "plugins/LSPDFR/". You should correct the folder structure of the downloaded zip file.

Yes I will reupload it and fix it. I'm working on a new version that will have digital radar, and other features just fighting with ragenativeui. I will also change the screenshot, I didn't think about that. Thanks for the feedback :)

Also it can either be inside plugins which it will load instantly or plugins/lspdfr which only activates when you go on duty. Stay tuned for the revamped version!

I will use this as a placeholder, thank you.

A digital version sounds good if you can get it close to the screenshot. Maybe add some alerts to go with it so you set the speed to 55mph a car goes over that and an automatic voice would sound saying something like the speed the person is going or a warning saying speeder or something like that I’m sure ai could make a real life like voice
