Realistic Holster

Realistic Holster is an immersive LSPDFR plugin designed to enhance your patrol experience by adding realistic weapon holstering mechanics. Feel like a true police officer as your firearm and taser behavior matches real-life expectations.


Features:

  • Automatic holster switching:

    • When your gun or taser is drawn, your holster switches to an empty version.

    • When the weapon is returned to the holster, it switches back to a holster with the firearm.

    • An animation when equipping a firearm.

  • Full integration with EUP Law & Order.

  • Customization: Being able to create your own presets

  • AI Holsters:

    • Nearby AI officers spawned by Ultimate Backup or Policing Redefined will have their holster components swap automatically when they draw or reholster.

    • Optional holster sounds play when nearby AI officers draw or reholster within a configurable radius.

  • Blacklisted Weapons:

    • Stop specific weapons from triggering any holster swaps, animations or sounds.

    • Useful for prop weapons or lidar guns that share a pistol hash.

    • 3 blacklist slots, configurable in the menu.

  • Preset Codes – Export & Import:

    • Save your full holster setup to a shareable PresetCode.txt file.

    • Import a preset code from another player to instantly apply their full holster setup.

  • Menu options allow:

    • Turning holster sounds on/off

    • Disabling gun or taser holster individually

    • Adding custom/addon weapons

    • Creating your own custom presets (for custom EUP)

    • Toggling AI holsters and sounds

    • Managing blacklisted weapons

    • Exporting and importing preset codes

Requirements:

  • LSPDFR (latest version)

  • EUP Law & Order

  • RageNativeUI

Installation

  1. Place in: Grand Theft Auto V/Plugins/LSPDFR (Important: Do not place it anywhere else, or it will not work.)

  2. Optional configuration:

    • Edit the .ini file only if you want to change the menu key.

Custom Holsters:

  • All standard EUP tasers and holsters are included (cop holster, leg holster, green taser, etc.).

  • For custom holsters, you need EUP models with two versions: one with the weapon/taser and one without.

  • If you don't use custom holsters, no additional setup is required.

Animations:

  • Intimidation animation is K (Can be changed within the menu)

    • The animation will not play if a weapon is equipped

    • The animation will stop if a weapon is pulled

  • Draw animation plays when equipping a firearm.

    • Works while the player is running

    • Can be toggled in the Settings menu

Addon/Custom Weapons:

  • The plugin automatically detects the weapon hash, you just need to set it in the menu.

  • Open the menu using the default F2 key.

Future Plugins (Angel Callouts):

I am working on a new callout pack called "Angel Callouts". These callouts will have:

  • Hopefully 20 callouts

  • AI Text to speech voices for suspects/callers

  • All calls have different outcomes (peds will say/do different things if you redo the call)

  • Multiple locations across the whole map

    @Angel AI Sorry if this has been asked before, but are you planning on updating this plugin to allow taser texture change? For example My taser is on texture 2, unholstering of course works fine, but go to re-holster and it goes back to texture 1

    Yes, I am working on it, just been trying to do AI, but I think im going to scrap AI for the next update and just get that out.

    Amazing mod, you should add the OG holster animation that cop holster had, the base LSPDFR one seems odd

    Could you please add update for add-on weapons as well please? Right now withdrawing custom weapons doesn't play the holster audio plus the holster just doesn't work. Thank you!

    Not sure if this has already been brought up yet but I just installed your mod and I set up one of my gun holsters a custom holster. It unholsters the weapon just fine, but when I holster the gun, it changes my undercoat which is my belt. Is there a fix for that?

    Very nice mod ! it clearly adds more realism, for the pistol it works perfectly fine with this custom EUP holster

    but for the taser i'm using this custom EUP belt and as soon as the taser is unholstered the belt switches to the vanilla EUP belt

    I 've read in your description that the custom belts need 2 variants (holstered and unholstered) do you have any suggestions of LAPD belts that would be compatible ?

    I do not sorry, there is a stock EUP belt under the name of green taser that would be for lapd. Its already an preset.

    Whenever I go to to Holster my gun it changes my undercoat . I use EUP , it does this also whenever I get in and out of a vehicle . Looking forward to this issue being fixed ! Great mod otherwise

    are you able to add placing the hand on the holster like "Cop Holster" but other than that yours is coded much better the pistol would disappear after putting it back in the holster "Cop holster plugin"

    If you click F2 and click on the presets, it should be fixed

    Maybe your right but i pressed CAPS and RIGHT on the D pad (control) i dont put my hand on my gun. And your INI doesnt have a button config. also from reading another comment its not just me. take a look into if you want its no big deal really other than that the Plugin is amazing bro.

    I have been waiting for a plugin like this but I cant use my duty belt and holster I purchased from a website. It switches to vanilla holster and duty belt. If you had a way to be able to add custom duty belts or their files this would be my vote for plug in of the year

    Yes, in the F2 menu you can set custom holsters by setting the EUP components, but you need two variations of the belt one with the taser and one without.

    When I put my handgun back in it's holster a brown flannel appears and sticks out of the uniform on my character. Any fix for that? Possible bug?
