2020 FPIU | Pasco County Sheriff's Office [ELS] 1.2.0

(0 reviews)

4 Screenshots

This is a 2020 FPIU that is NOT an exact 1 to 1 of the IRL unit. There is only one photo of the 2020 Explorer online I could find. The design is based on my memory of seeing one IRL and online videos and photos from other patrol cars and using my ***Imaaaaagination*** to make an educated guess what they would put where and what they would be using. This is my first car I have ever made and published. If there are any inaccuracies or items missing please let me know and I will try my best to add it in to make it as close as possible to 1:1 (include photo/video proof).

This vehicle includes a radar mounted on the dash with forward and rear antennas, a customized laptop for the agency (texture made by me), trunk storage/gear, and more.

The livery was made by myself completely custom. If I did not specify something was made by myself then assume it was not.

I will be making the rest of their fleet as time goes on. Next will most likely be a 2016 FPIU or 2019 Tahoe.

I am no vehicle developer, but apparently, at least the takedowns have to do with dummy size/placement on the model. I hope you know what to do from there lol.

Amazing model. This is legit the exact model Ive been needing. Love the slow change lights when you exit, the cruise lights are perfect along with the spot lights. I could not ask for anything else with this everything is phenomenal. I've been wanting to replicate the irl vehicles in my town and they needed very specific specifications... slicktop, no ram bar, and had side runners, not only does this model have all three of those, it does an excellent job at replicating them in game. High recommend.

Also, big thanks to the developer for fixing a modeling issue within a day!

Love this model a ton! just what I've been looking for. The steady burn when you exit the vehicle is amazing along with the quality details. However, I did find an issue, there are two floating specs that are about a foot ahead of the vehicle centered to the left of it when looking head on. They look like they're supposed to be on the little lights underneath the side mirrors. You can also see them when viewing the model in open iv... If that gets fixed I will for sure resume using this model! @BOXman

Ill ofc delete this comment so it isn't the first thing people see when they view this lol.

I found one on 3d warehouse/sketchfab but idk the legitimacy of the website i never 3d modeled before. Also idk if you can cause i think els cant do this or even maybe a hybrid but Pasco just recently got the new Whelen Sync lights. I see them in Weasly Chapel parked on the side of the road. This is the pattern i see, would be cool for a park mode or something.

I have been investigating syncing lights on different vehicles but from what I have gathered so far this is not possible with ELS right now. Maybe in the future or in GTA 6 it will be possible. If I find a way it for sure will be implemented in the Pasco models. I have purchased a 2021 Tahoe model that I am currently developing. The pattern itself where it glows brighter and then glows less as shown in the video also is not possible due to ELS limitations to my knowledge. The pattern the lights flash when you step out of the vehicle is meant to replicate the pattern in the video as close as ELS can which is why I selected it since it looks very similar. I am a stickler for realism so it is annoying I cant exactly replicate the lights like IRL due to GTA limitations. So I hope that answered your question! Thanks for the response. If there's anything else you dig up let me know 🙂

Yea idk if a hybrid would do it it either, also i know the newer tahoes use the added lights as brake lights and turn signals as well. Only other thing is reflective decals if you can.
