[ELS][Addon] Ventura Police Dept. Mini Pack 1.4

These are put together with the upmost accuracy, although not perfect. There are not any plans currently to make cars the department doesn't have ie; Dodge Charger, full non els/els lighting, and non lore liveries.

To anyone wondering about the VCSO Tahoe in the background of the screenshots; I made it, it's not publicly available yet, it will be at some point when I have time to get it to a point where I'm satisfied.

Let me know of any issues you may encounter.

Install instructions:

Place the Venturapd1 folder in mods/update/x64/dlcpacks

Open & edit your dlclist.xml & add <Item>dlcpacks:/Venturapd1/</Item> , found at mods/update/update.rpf/common/data

Place the els file in your els folder, you should be all set!

its really nice good job for your first model, but the ally lights shine on the ground and you should change the vehicle audio it sounds like a race car

Thank you for the report I'll look into it.
If you want to change the audio of the car you can open the vehicles.meta in the data folder and change the "audioNameHash" from Nightshark to Gresley: <audioNameHash>GRESLEY</audioNameHash>

Updated the file to include the template, ambient occlusion map, and an option to take off the reflective livery, thank you for the feedback!

I dont think we need all that, but probably the template and that is about it. Players that do livery texture can always add reflective livery.

So I caught a mistake in the .xml for the lights. When I went to code 2 (stage 2) (I don't understand why people called that. It's code 2). I fixed and now the color flashing is at the right location. The issue is that the blue flashing light should not be flashing and should stay solid since the blue light on the code 3 light bar is solid and not flashing at all.

I have attached the picture and also the .xml to this message. I called Venturapd23fpiu but I will be changing it to 23unmarkedunitfpiu since I use it for highway patrol and not local.

Its an addon car it needs to stay as its original name since it uses hybrid els

No need bro. Anything to make this car look beautiful.

I just finished making a vehicle texture for this vehicle too for Fresno Sheriff County. The old version was before they removed the strip off of the vehicle.

Do you have ELS installed? If you don't install it and follow the install and it'll give you an ELS folder and in that folder a vcf folder, put the els file in there

I'm gonna be releasing the VPD 2011 cvpi soon, they sadly don't have chargers so that's not planned for this.

dang... Its too bad, because that lightning looks well on the FPIU and I would think they have a Charger. Is this based off of a department agency or not?

Yes this is based on Ventura Police Department in California

Hello, I was wondering why the badge on the side still remained after taking off the main livery? I cant find another place in the files that would show that logo. If there is a place can you please let me know? Other than that this is a amazing model!
