Fulton County Sheriff's Office, GA pack (WIP, READ DESC) 0.5

(0 reviews)

5 Screenshots

This is a pack I made because theres simply no FCSO liveries, lore or real. I made 2 so far as of the time of first submitting these, I plan to make more real liveries and then lore friendly liveries in the near future. For now the liveries included are for the 18 charger and 16 explorer both are real liveries.

I plan to make the the following liveries.

-15 Mustang (REAL/LORE)

-18 Tahoe (REAL/LORE)

-18 Charger (LORE) (real and lore grey versions planned)

-16 explorer (lore)

-20 explorer (real/lore)\

more may come but thats all for now.

According to the desc of the original pack, you can't include the models.

Yeah, that is actually pretty common.  I would say that most devs don't mind someone making other liveries available for their models, but don't want their model directly shared with the livery.  Just the link back to their original pack, like you also posted, or suggestions of a couple examples of vehicles or packs that your liveries will fit, is usually the best way to go.

In the way of constructive feedback on these two........looking good overall.  I did notice a couple things, though.  Roof numbers - seem to be mostly underneath the lightbar.......you might want to pull them back a bit further.  And, on the Charger - the bumper and roof numbers don't match.....one is 829 and the other is 869.

I have this agency on my project list, actually - will have to keep an eye on the others you post, lol!

lol, I may have been a little rushed on the charger numbers. thanks for the feedback. For now, I'm going to do the other liveries while also looking to find a way on how to get the text on the charger like the real life one, where its text size coincides to the grey line getting thicker. (idk if I worded that right.) Thanks for the feedback and I'll fix the issues soon hopefully.

I know what you mean about the letters getting larger as the grey area widens towards the back of the car.  It is an interesting design effect.......don't see it too often!

As for how to do it..........not sure what graphics program you use.  Thinking about how I would do it in GIMP - I would type out the text, then look for a function along the lines of "skew" or "perspective change" or "3D transform".  Something that allows you to increase/decrease the size of one end, without altering the other, and gives a smooth angle transition between them.
