DeleteWeapon – No Trainer Needed! | Now with hotkeys and vehicle deletion! v1.4.1

Do you hate using trainers? I know I do! I don't need them, and I will not install one just for one simple little thing I want to accomplish... That's why I created this RPH plugin, that I aptly named DeleteWeapon. The plugin now has a lot more functionality, thanks to the community! You guys came up with wonderful ideas!

Functionality: After loading it, a couple new commands become available in the Rage Console, with which you can achieve some new functions such as deleting weapons, weapon mods, vehicles etc. You can also set some functionality to hotkey with the provided INI file.

Compatibility: Plugin is compatible with the unholster functionality of the Axon Signal system.^*

Showcase: (A new one would be nice, if anyone wants to make one 😁)

^*The plugin sets your equipped weapon to fists, so it won't switch to something else, setting off the unholster detection.

Added the possibility to delete modifications from equipped weapon.
Added the possibility to delete all weapons from inventory.
Added confirmation behaviours.
This means that when using hotkeys, you will get asked to confirm your actions, if confirmation is set to true on a given action.

Added the possibility to delete vehicle.
Added the possibility to use hotkeys.
Added ini.
Please note: in this version, confirmation behaviours are not implemented! This means that when using hotkeys, you will not get asked to confirm your actions!

Added the "DeleteBaton" and "DeleteWeapon" command.
"DeleteWeapon" is to be used by giving a weapon name to delete.
Fixed some bugs that could keep you from deleting weapons if you didn't have a weapon in hand

Sadly it seems I accidentally deleted this script from my PC, but when I can find time, I will rewrite it and make a remove flashlight command for you!

I found the plugin in one of my GitHub repo's, so I'm just working on uploading the new version. 😉

This is a really handy plugin! If you could add a command to delete closest vehicle that would be very appreciated!

I use this plugin for that. Mine is set to LShift+D.

This just started out as a bit of a learning thing for me, as I have never written RPH plugins before, so this is not a huge project for me, but I'll get around to it next week, see if I can do something about the delete car thing. (Although @Paladin Ranger linked an excellent mod for that.)

Hi - I have not been online for a while but am the author of the delete vehicle plugin...

My source code is open source and on GitHub if you also wanted to look at vehicle (or other object) deletion as well...

Thank you for commenting on this, I will take a look, and maybe get some code while I'm at it. 😄 (If so, I will surely reference you and make the project open source).

Btw this project itself is basically just a plugin to address some of my specific needs without using trainers - Honestly I just don't like them.

I just released v1.3! This version now includes hotkeys aswell as the option to delete the nearest vehicle. You can get it here, until it is approved on LSPDFR.com.

I like this script, it was useful in the game, but i need command to delete weapon modifications and delete all weapons. Can u please do this on next update 🙏

i opened an issue on github for this, will look into it. I don’t know when I will have the time to work on the script, but when I will, I will surely add these!

Couldn’t hold myself, started working on it already, it’s coming soon. The delete modifications from weapon part is a bit meh - the only way I could achieve it is by deleting the weapon and giving a fresh one. If anybody has any suggestions regarding a solution, please tell me.

I have to fix something with the delete all weapons command, then I will publish it.

I was also able to figure out how to do the confirmation, so that’s coming too.

TL;DR: version 1.4 is on it’s way, including the requested commands and the confirmation of hotkeys.

If you have any more suggestions regarding the mod, please don’t hesitate to ask! This might just turn into a trainer alternative afterall.

Maybe in the future, since you already have command delete vehicle, you can make delete blips from map (sometimes it stays on map after the callout). And if you want you can make a delete peds, it is not bad too. But it would be very cool if you add command to delete props in hands, i mean annoying itemes, which cannot be removed, only with character restart.

Hey All!

I made a mistake with v1.4.1 meaning that if you downloaded it, and it says there is an update, it's because I forgot to update the version in the assembly info. If you update again (to v1.4.1), I fixed it now, so it should be OK!

The blips thing is a cool idea, I'll definitely look into that, as that annoys me too, especially when the mod crashes, and it stays on.

I don't know how props are handled at all, but might look into that.

Ped deletion is problematic in my opinion as it would require precise character placement by the user (peds can get really close to each other), and if you mess up, there's no going back, which might cause problems with certain callouts.

If you have a github account, feel free to make these suggestions as issues on there!

Thank you so much. I was looking for how to remove weapons, but the other mods just makes my game crash.

But this one works simple and smooth.
