[ELS] Los Santos PD Pack (Golden Valley, MN)

Build 212603-1101a

This is a small LSPD pack based on Golden Valley Police (MN). Six vehicles are included, three unmarked and three marked. Golden Valley's made a lot of strange decisions when it comes to lighting, from putting as many lights on the vehicle as humanly possible to mounting light modules in nonstandard places. I've tried my best to make the liveries and lighting setup as close to GVPD as possible, but as always, my main goal with this pack was not accuracy. As such, I request you don't review this pack based on accuracy.

This is a rework from the previous iteration of this pack (released March 2021), and the following changes have been made:

  • Added partition collision feature
  • Added reflective liveries
  • Added gunmount in all vehicles with partitions
  • Redid SUV trunk equipment and partition
  • Light emissive texture improvements
  • Light module mounting/scaling improvements
  • Various model and data file optimizations
  • Bug fixes

Known issues:

  • Certain vehicles have large model sizes
  • Various issues with the 2014 FPIU, such as player hands not being on the steering wheel
  • FPIS handling lines are weird, regardless of whether it's the vanilla or improved versions
  • Rambars have collisions, but those collisions are provided by a modified bumper collision model

Vehicles included:

  • fbi: 2014 Ford PI Utility (unmarked)
  • fbi2: 2016 Ford PI Utility (unmarked)
  • police: 2011 Ford Crown Victoria PI
  • police2: 2018 Dodge Charger PPV (slicktop, real life counterpart: Car #830)
  • police3: 2016 Ford PI Sedan (real life counterpart: Car #825)
  • police4: 2011 Ford Crown Victoria PI (SAP unmarked/detective)

Clarified that the 2014 FPIU has an HQ interior

What's New in Version 212603-1101a

Released

Changelog 212603-1101a

  • Modified vehicle: police3
    • Added missing "POLICE" text to trunk
  • Notes:
    • The screenshots do not reflect this change.
    • It is intentional that the CVPI and Charger do not have the "POLICE" text on the trunk. This particular FPIS, #825, is one of the only GVPD vehicles to have that text.
  • If updating from a previous version:
    • Drag and drop police3.yft, police3_hi.yft, and police3.ytd into patchday22ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
  • Expected SHA-256: 5fd7362787c599bb351dfa05305e3a31c98f0701a0fa38a1f9ea4f48bc50b512

I’m planning on it (notably cars #837, 834, 826, and 844), but only after I’ve remastered my remaining packs.

I'm having an issue. When I crash the car, and it gets a dent and all that, the emergency light still stays in place. So there's just a hovering emergency light.
