What's New in Version 1.6.5

Released

Version 1.6.5

General

*Removed compatibility with Lore Interaction

Developers note:  As per requested, Lore Interaction is no longer needed for running duty belt features. It is now separated into a standalone plugin provided with this addon.

Proper instructions can be found inside the README.

Version 1.6.0

General

*Removed compatibility with CopHolster

Developers note:  Due to CopHolster being unsupported users are now recommended to use Lore Interaction for duty holster features. See Lore Interaction for more.

Version 1.5.0

Outfits

*An increase from approximately 35 outfit variations to a total of 178 outfit variations for all agencies featured.

*Fixed a bug which prevented some NPC's from spawning with the correct uniform in some zones.

Developers note:  Sometimes the NPC's drove around with a bike wearing no helmet, a regular white t-shirt and a pair of jeans. This is no longer the case however.

Textures

*All agencies now have all texture variations featured by their NPC coutnerparts from the vanilla game.

Models

*All agenices now have a short sleeve and a formal long sleeve option where their NPC's counterparts had one in the vanilla game.

Developers note:  The FIB have no short sleeve shirt in the vanilla game, however they now have a long sleeve shirt with a tactical vest and they can also wear a jacket.

General

*Models and textures were optimized further to prevent clipping and wierd texture glitches caused by specular and normal maps.

*2 added stations, one in Downtown for the Federal Investigation Bureau and one at the Los Santos Government Facility for N.O.O.S.E units. None of these require Open Interiors.

*2 special units added for UltimateBackup; A FIB Investigation Team and an FIB Tactical Response Unit.

*Updated artwork for the download and presentation page.

Spoiler

Note for people downloading the newest version, 1.5.0.

The old file still shows as Main File on the download page. Take a moment before you download and make sure you're downloading "1089068284_LoreWardrobe1.5byZPhDevs.rar". I have contacted staff about this issue, because when I tried to update it myself I managed to put the whole version on an infinite pending approval loop. Sorry for this. I will post again when this issue has been resolved.

This however does not affect the content within said file. Just make sure you're actually downloading the new version, and not the old one.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

EDIT: This issue is now resolved.

Thank you for your kind words. As for the ped component, it definitely looks like the UV Map was applied wrong. I'll get started on it right away. Just incase anything else shows up, I'll wait until later tonight for uploading the new patched version. Thank you for contributing! 🙂

Hello ZPhDevs

are you going to update lore wardrobe ?? as you can see there are still some wip parts to to just like officerporci said....with the holes in the t-shirt, the hair is looking out of the hat and the shouldermic such and such...it would be really nice if you could complete this project.

Since installing this it messed up my eup 9.5 as all the rank patches, pins aren't loading in my uniform variation options. No sergeant, LT, etc patches or pins.

I will take your suggestion and try to add those as soon as I get some extra spare time to work further on this modification.

No, EUP and Lore Wardrobe shares some game files and will overwrite one another.  EUP is huge and I highly recommend it if you want loads of cool uniforms. Lore Wardrobe is for the minimalist who prefers a few uniforms true to lore, used by law enforcement in GTA V.

The holster feature as a standalone plugin would be great for the community since copholster is a bit outdated these days.

I will look into separating the holster feature from Lore Interaction and add back as a standalone plugin. It does indeed make sense that way.

The installation of the DLC files in the "file" folder makes absolutely no sense to me. I got the LSPD and Wardrobe outfits in the "LSPDFR, and Plugin" Folders, but I don't know what to do with the items in the "File" folder, there is no "dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages" it just ends at the "dlc.rpf" and I don't know what the mod folder option is for the "Lore.Wardrobe_ZPhDevs.oiv" or even what to do with it.

The readme will tell you what to do with the files. Items found under "files" are optional if you don't want to use the .OIV installer.  A .oiv file is a package file for OpenIV.

Yes it says to put the files into "Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages" however my file only goes to "Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf" so do I just dump them in the the folder with the "dlc.rpf"? Or do I just put the Lor.Wardrobe_ZPhDevs.oiv into the GTA Root Folder?

Quoted from the readme,

Quote

a) use the provided .oiv package called "Lore.Wardrobe_ZPhDevs.oiv" with OpenIV.
        1) The files should be installed by using the mod folder option. It is NOT recommended to install and replace root game files.

OR

b) drag and drop individual files on your own, located within the "files" folder in the root archive of this modification...

You have two installation options, but both requires OpenIV. OpenIV is a software which lets to modify content within your GTA v root folder. It does a lot of things, but most importantly it lets you modify content within .dlc files and install packages through .oiv files. Do you have OpenIV installed and set up?

You can send me a message if you need more guidance, I will gladly help you.

Is there an uninstaller for the oiv?
