If LSPDFR crashes MAKE SURE you have the newest RageNativeUI installed! You can get it from here: https://github.com/alexguirre/RAGENativeUI/releases

 

Hello people!

I got back into LSPDFR (modding and playing) and it bugged me, that there was no real way to either properly ticket parked vehicles for roleplay reasons (or the reason of how GTA places vehicles sometimes) and also no real way to just play as parking enforcement in general! Well now there is! This plugin comes with a full system to check if vehicles have paid for parking (you can choose the streets on which that is required!), ticket vehicles for various things (citations are editable!) and more to make Los Santos safer (and also richer)! It will either allow you to ticket parked vehicles that you just come by on duty or go out and enforce the city's parking regulations full time!

 

Features:

 

- Ticket menu when close to a vehicle

- View previous parking citations of that vehicle

- Check a vehicles parking ticket. Do they have one? Is it for the right zone? Is it still valid?

- Give tickets with customizable offenses to a vehicle (ticket related like "expired parking ticket" and general like "parking on the sidewalk")

- View tickets given out by you this shift

- Edit the streets that require payment for parking (through an ingame menu)

- Get attacked (rarely) by drivers who hate you now because you just ticketed them

 

XML-Files:

There are two XML-Files in the plugins own folder. Offenses.xml which contains the offenses you can put on tickets and Streets.xml (will generate at first start) which contains your selection of streets where payment for parking is not required! Feel free to edit the Offenses, leave the Streets alone, use the general menu ingame instead!

You can share both those files with the community after editing them!

 

How to use:

 

F5 will bring up the ticket menu when close to a vehicle. Here you can handle the vehicle as you see fit!

Q will bring up the general menu. Here you can view given out tickets and edit the streets as mentioned!

The menus are quite self explainatory!

You can edit keybindings and more in the provided ini file!

 

Installation:

Drag the provided files into your GTAV/plugins/LSPDFR directory, tadaaa!

 

You will need RageNativeUI for this to work!

For certain functions you do need StopThePed by Bejoljo (optional) which I highly recommend anyways!

 

 

If you find any bugs, want to see things changed or added, either leave a comment or write me a PM. As this is a BETA there will be an update in the near future tackling bugs & implementing requests!

Bro,

I installed this plugin but my LSPDFR crashed while I'm going on duty

Is that could be solved after Beta version?  Thanks !

    So glad you did this - I thought about it as been missing this feature since Traffic Policer but never had the time. A bit of feedback (I hope you don't mind, please take it or leave it). 

     

    I am not seeing any crashing issues in my game and have a lot of mods in my game.

     

    1. Is there a reason for two different menus? Would it be possible for there to be one menu maybe with the settings under a sub menu? It just then frees up a key binding as when we have so many mods with menus it gets hard to find free keys. 

    2. It can be a pain opening the menu to check a lot of cars, in a carpark for example. Would it be possible for a hotkey to check for a valid ticket without opening the menu?  
    3. I also noticed you get less of a fine for an expired ticket over 3 hrs than for under. (Easily changed in offences.xml but thought I should mention it) 

     

    Again thank you for taking the time to develop this mod - it has been sorely missed.

    But I have no idea how to upload crash report of RPH because it's CRM files

    Hi @AlanChi,

     

    Looking in the log I can see a crash caused by the TrafficBlock plugin.

    It doesn't seem to be this one causing the issue for you. 

     

    TrafficBlock crashed as it needs RageNativeUI 1.7+ and you are running 1.6.3.0

    I think if you update RageNativeUI it will stop crashing for you.

    Just installed this but I will give it a try after work since u made a parking fine maybe should add “clamp wheels” for failing to pay the tickets and if it’s not been paid tow the car 👍

    Yep, I plan on implementing some use for the PAID/UNPAID status, right now it just shows up! If you got any ideas feel free to drop them :P!

    Quick tip for you: Some plugins come with RageNativeUI.dll included. DON't use that file, always download the newest RageNativeUI.dll 🙂

    1. I will think of a smart solution for that, maybe an option in the ini to set, if you want it combined into one menu!

    2. Hotkey is a great idea, should also be pretty easy to put in there! Will look into it!

    3. I'm dumb enough to mix up over and under 😄

    Is the parking ticket sticking to the car? In this plugin for example is that so.

    The ticket for parking 3+ hrs after buying a ticket is less expensive ($30) as the ticket for parking less than 3 hrs after buying a ticket($35). And having no ticket at all is the same as parking 3+ hours after a ticket was paid for.

    That doesn't make much sense. lol

    Still it's a great adding to the game.

    You can change that in the Offenses.xml in the BasicParkingEnforcement folder in 10 seconds ^^ You can also add/remove offenses!
