This is my first model I have ever really done alot to. I have not seen any F350's on lcpdfr or any site and wanted to get a decent model out there so devs can use it and expand on the base. If you guys fix anything or do any upgrades to it please let me now. Would love to see some improvements on this as I am still learning how to do things in zmod. Good luck and have fun with this base. It is definitely not the best model but it is something for others to expand on.

I definitely think this model is way too low poly to be used. it looks okay texture wise, you need to use a different chrome texture as well. Still. Too low poly, and I have an F-350 posted on here that I did a couple months back lol

That is true. I just was learning how to fix holes and such in a car. Ya I agree the chrome texture is bad but this just just done as a starting point for people if they want to add or remove stuff they are free to do so. Did not notice that. lol. I appreciate the feedback!

Removed all the fire stuff that was on the model and and also the whole trunk bed was redone and a top cover was put on top. New seats and fixed holes. So did more than just fix holes. also fixed windows and fixed collisions as well. 

 

I am just learning zmod and how to do stuff in it so i am pretty happy with how I did for my first time. We all have to start somewhere.

all good i completely understand where u are coming from. I uploaded outside shots and no interior shots and most of the stuff I did was interior while Hyena#8615 redid the bed of the truck. So would be hard to notice what was changed

Yes it is, IF the original author DIDN'T give him perms to do so. Which I do not know but yes it could be a issue... Fixing "a few holes" is nothing. VERY MINOR edits.

With some further analysis.. I still stand with what I said, the paint_3 material is broken and the template needs to be completely redone in order to even edit that material, I tried dirtmapping it, which I did, but it did not work as that material is clapped and broken. As for "minor edits" and such go, if that's true I feel as though it should be removed. Also, I can count the poly's on the tires. The model is under 40k polys which is extremely low. I think the idea was good, execution was not.

Ok. I will remove file. This was made so someone can use this and make it better. This was never meant to be complete as I dont know how to fix those things. I am still learning z mod.  File will be deleted in a few hours once I get off work. Had a few message me and ask for it to stay up so I will keep it up. Just now to people downloading there is alot of stuff to still fix.

Very late to the party here. But who cares, he made some smaller edits to the truck, didn't ever claim it was his and included all credits to the original authors. It was released to the public already, what difference does it make about "permissions" it's a FREE asset... Anyway Llamma If you're just now learning Zmod you're on the right track, practice makes perfect. Keep doing what you're doing, start with small projects, learn the basics and progress from there. As for @InfiniteTheDev you're complaining about the truck being low poly. Check any vehicle from R*, they aren't supposed to be 200k polys before you ever get to work with the car, with the right texture and material work a 100k poly truck can look just as good and or better than one that is 200k plus. GTA is not supposed to be for "rendering high poly models" if you want to do that you use 3DS Max, Blender, etc. Not GTA, you have numerous comments where you berate people such as 0taku, Alex, and more for either "bad materials" "too low poly of a model", etc. And when you aren't complaining about something being too low poly, you're complaining about something being too high poly, such as Jack's F-250. But yet you release a Razer that's over 600k polys, with missing parts like a proper undercarriage (Shouldn't be able to see right through the hood when you flip something over) how it's even 600k.. 😐 fuck me if I have an answer, that should be no more than probably 75-85k at the most. It's 6 body panels, a basic interior and some bars for a roll cage.... I call complete laziness for some weird shit like that, that is what you should be calling "Unusable in game" the fuckin Yachts aren't even that high poly. You also released an F-350 with holes everywhere, materials all types of messed up, truck doesn't even work properly in game to start with. Cadillac is basically the same story, one piece of the door is chrome, the rear is something different, materials are all types of funky, a bunch of stuff isn't even textured properly. Overall everything is a solid 1.5 out of 10. Stop trying to tear everyone else apart for shit you can't even do properly yourself. And even when you do know stuff isn't made right, rather than take the "your mod is trash" approach, some constructive criticism with tips on how to fix said issues would go much better than these whack ass comments you leave everywhere.

Also, on 0takus crown vic. The game works based off of triangles, not quads, no game ever uses quads, a tri is only splitting that quad so that a game engine can properly use it, things have to be in triangles so that the game engine can draw them easier. Therefor even if you were to take a vehicle and model it all in quads, never convert it to triangles, set it up for gta and load it in. The game will split those quads into triangles the moment it has to load in and draw the geometry, nothing will ever be in quads if it has to go into a game. This also has ZERO affect on the model itself and how it will look overall, only bad normals and topology will dictate that. But hell even 3D modeling software's render the tris as soon as you create a quad even if they aren't there physically.

TLDR: Llamma you're off to a good start, keep doing what you're doing to improve yourself, as for everyone commenting about permissions, it was released publicly to begin with, what's it matter years later if someone uploads their edits to it. IT'S FREE. As for infinite, I can't sum that up, read it. Stop bashing the shit out of everyone when you can't even do the same shit you're complaining to others about in the first place like holes everywhere, bad materials, high poly shit, etc.
