The flags on the liveries are backwards.

The observer is supposed to see the flag with the stars on the left side. The flags aren't backwards. At least that's what i was taught.

I could totally misunderstanding you guys but here's my thoughts and explanations:

TL;DR: Blue field faces forward because the U.S. doesn't retreat and it simulates it blowing in the wind

Flags on vehicles and uniforms are different. While yes Mikey is right that is only in the circumstance of them being on actual free standing flag. if the flag is to be used on a vehicle as a decal and not an actual flag, such as the beast for POTUS vs emergency vehicles, the stars shall face the front on both sides to simulate it blowing in the wind or charging in that direction. it is to mimic the flag flying in the the air if you were to have a flag hanging out of a vehicles window the stars and the blue field would be facing at the front most and not at the back. The same is true on U.S. Military Uniforms the flag is facing forward no matter what shoulder it is on if it is on the right shoulder the flag will simply be reversed so that the stars lead the way. if the flag were to flown with the stars to the rear it would symbolize that we are retreating. 

Here's a simpler explain nation by Balance careers:

"Since the Stars and Stripes are mounted with the canton closest to the pole, that section of the flag stayed to the right, while the stripes flew to the left. Therefore, the flag is worn on the right shoulder, and wearing it backward gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the wearer moves forward."

so again there's actual reasons for it like physics and some symbolism

Thank you so much for the explanation. I fixed the skin but I can definitely see where there is confusion in the topic but thank you for clearing it up.

Absolutely! 

This vic is pretty loaded, I'd suggest a version with window partitions and a fire extinguisher between the cage partition and center console. Im mad the trunk orgainizer you used wasn't available for download till after i released my own crown vics in my fleet. It looks sick.
