pickup unit will be so useful I am sick of sprinting across the map to my car after a foot pursuit.

which one are you talking about? the units spawn at the nearest police station or car workshop. so you either gotta wait for them to arrive or warp then to your location.

you can use the key set in the config to open the menu (default is insert) and spawn one of the units in there

Im still confused, i choosed the Tow unit, that one reached first but then and i don't know why, a second unit also spawned but not in a tow..

i still don't know how honestly works this mod, because...

I called them for a vehicle, the tow never did anything just remained there.. the second vehicle got lost and unable to reach destination..

How this really works? is for the Player only or it can tow a npc vehicle out of the way?

Can you upload a video showing how it works because, we know it's the Insert key.. but what else it does?


like mentioned before, my Tow truck just remained in position, the npc vehicle vanished.. the second one (and i don't know why) wasn't using a Tow and never reached the place so i just left and continue playing with 2 cyan dots on my map...

Hi, the towing unit is just delivering you a tow truck which you can use to tow a vehicle yourself. The same goes with the duty vehicle unit. The drives of both units enter the other vehicle and drive away

Mmm, i tought the Tow will take care of X vehicle and drive away with it.

Still, honestly the Drivers of both vehicles never left the ones in wich they came (thw Tow and the 4x4)

so i just let it dispawn. Thanks anyway.

Alright thats odd. Usually the tow driver should enter the second vehicle. Never had that issue. Which rage version are you playing on?

If you want a car to get towed away I'd recommend you to use UltimateBackup ^^

I didn't get any mechanic, they always stuck, if only there was an option in the ini file to change the spawn distance 😞

Can you add option to select other car model like "utility truck" etc?,when i change in 'MechanicUnit" mesa3 to any other model plugin i  see the message "Mechanic Backup Plugin has crashed"
