Yes it does work with single player but i'm not bothered to rename them, rename the ydd to p_head_001.ydd, then from A to D for ytd files.   p_head_diff_001_a.ytd

Take a look at this picture ^ for location for LSPDFR single player.

and no it's a free cap converted from franklin to mp model so you don't pay to use it.

pateron key is for fivem to stream the cap, you shouldn't worry about it, it will work on single player for u, just read what i said [rename them]

I've been looking for a hat like this for a while. Any way to get the default texture to make it easier to make textures for it?

Yes, you can place a plain background due whatever color you want your hat to be for civilian, export the picture from the ytd file and do it from paint then replace it back into the ytd file again in OpenIV, if you don't know how to use openiv, look at youtube [How to texture]
