Re-Roading Project       Fast AI drivers Alpha 7.5̟

(7 reviews)

Designed and programmed nearly 10 years ago, the roads of San Andreas were in need of serious regeneration...

Featuring  extreme speed increasesintelligent junctionsvaried braking, and smooth curve transitions

By reflagging path nodes from Rockstar throughout the map, and by modifying every vehicle, acceleration has been made much faster and speed limits amplified - something that was long overdue.

  •  No other mods required
  • Very minor glitches to be fixed ..

So does this mod crash my game?

make a back up of your mods folder before installing any mods that alter it...

i have an external hard drive where i keep all my backups and 2TB is dedicated to gta 5 and half of that alone is mod folders from different versions.

How Do you uninstall VisualIV OIV

the easiest way would be to have a backed up mods folder and replace it ... otherwise you'll have to start over ... if you have a lot of dlc pack files you can just copy out your dlcpack folder and dlclist.xml and start over.

Hey man is there a way to fix 'corrupted game data' or an uninstaller for his mod

You can use Google for the corrupted game issue.  Per the uninstaller, unfortunately not.  You'll need to manually remove it.

@Salty999 Sorry don't support bots and trolls

Wanting an uninstaller doesn't make someone a bot or troll, please be nicer to people don't like your mod and want to remove it.

@Reddington Tis a bot bro, check the account. Never done anything but comment here. On gtainside 2 other bot accounts have given this project 0 star ratings and on another website commented with 2 different accounts. I am nearly certain that's a troll/ the same div

anyway, come on people, I'm ready to release the lovely 7th with all of Los Santos, every road in the city, fully Re-Roaded! Just waiting for some more messages to come in with blind spots and I can package it up!

@ReddingtonThank You very much for the help! @TakeYaBackToStation4BumVio I was not trying to be a bot or a troll, I was just trying to get some help.

I believe what you have done is awesome and I really admire your work that you are doing.  However man just because I haven't commented on other peoples work does not mean I am a troll neither a bot. The reason why I don't comment is because I try not to upset anyone, although I thought you would be the best person to ask since you are the author. But anyways, Keep up what you are doing and have a good day bro!

@Salty999 Sorry bro things have been crazy. Some rando keeps following me and trying to provoke me into some sort of argument. Making me paranoid, anyway

Happy new year! Please check back when alpha 7 is out and let me know if it solves any of the dislikes you had!

yeah man some morons been ganging up on him. they're always talking about getting an uninstaller and there was a bunch of drama about it... they're bombing him with fake 0 reviews... what you want to do is make sure you back up your mods folder before you use an automatic installer of any kind. i too had an issue at first but thankfully i make more backups than a car in reverse ... i just dont mention uninstaller to my boy TakeYaBack cause he got ragged on by a couple ass monkey mods over at 5mods

Yeah I did make a backup although I just was making a query without knowing what drama had been going on elsewhere . It is just I didn't want to loose all my cars but Now I have backed up another mod version just in case. Thank you man

this mod doesnt really mess with dlcpacks so you can just use the same old dlcpack file ... it does change the vehicles.meta folder in update i believe, so if you've been doing

some modding in those files it can be kinda a bummer to lose hand placed values in those files... i went through that.
however an uninstaller wouldn't even fix that issue ... because uninstallers are just vanilla installers...  just goes back to making backups.

when you're using mods that edit any of the main meta files, weither you made them yourself

or downloaded them and installed them ... to keep those mods active you're going to need to hand place the values into the folder after installing this mod or any other mod

that updates those files.  Just like modding any other game its important to know what files are changed when installing mods. because if you're like me and change all that stuff

its easy to overwrite hard work. hints lots and lots of backups ... the way i work with gta5 is i keep a folder with many many different versions backed up.

You make a mod and post on LSPDFR, and then make it so it doesn't work with LSPDFR. Crashes every time I go on duty. Nice job.

Ive yet to have a crash and I play so much that I sometimes can not walk after sitting for so long. Maybe check the files or error logs, Error logs show everything including windows error. Because without error logs nothing can be fixed. So your issue is 100% in an error log waiting to be fixed. But it's def not this that is causing the issue. Thank you 🙂

It's a great mod (finally AI is sticking to speed arround 50 on route 68) but they drive way too fast in the city, they keep crashing and running lights (they drive as if they were all drunk ). Is it possible to change the max speeds in particular areas? Tried to mess around myself but it seems too confusing.

(edited)

@andy22296 Thanks man I'm glad everyone is liking this so far. I know it's super sketchy in the towns and citys, but I have narrowed it down to gradients only. Until I fix each instance, they will always not be able to see up/down gradients of even 5% from flatness. Things in da #reallife have been a bit shit so it's been ages since I opened codewalker and slowed some of these gradients down - which is super easy to do if anyone like Andy reading wants to take this project over I am happy to give you my 1 gig file of documentation, screenshots, test videos and PDFs... Anyway, once I get stuff sorted this month I  should back into my old hobby and releasing Alpha 7 of Re-Roading by the end of this month.

If you don't see anything by then, phone help. Medical help. ..for me.

I definitely enjoyed using this. But be careful, if you use better physic handling plugin the most of the ai will slam into everything

yes the way i have my game set up atm i use a physics mod that effects players vehicle only... it adds mass to the car and makes it handle pretty awesome its a script called "true realistic driving V" cool thing about this script is you can adjust it i have mine set to 0.5 ... this method give you stiffer handling vanilla cars ... give ai complete and total control over their shit ... and i do emphasize the word shit here. im currently working on a handling.meta file that will spice some things up. and with the 3 mods there you will see significantly more realistic gta 5 experience ... do keep in mind that spot fixes are being worked out ... occationally you may find a stop sign being ran by ai ... report any strange bugs to TakeYaBackToStation4BumVio so that he can adjust it .
