LCPD MDC 1.1b

My very first attempt at anything mod related. I have updated and changed it a bit. I have included a readme which now explains how to add pictures and such to it. I also included the link for Microsoft Access Runtime. This now allows ANYONE to use the database.

Thats right, just download Microsoft Access Runtime 2010 and you are good to go.

I am very excited and glad you made this. Will there be any conflict with the actual LCPDFR computer in game? And also do you have a tutorial or guide to let us know how the MDC works? Thank you.

Looks cool, but since I don't have Microsoft Office, I can't use it.

I am in training today, but when I get home I will work on that Readme to give users a little more instructions. It works outside gta iv. It is a MS access database, in which you need to pause your game, then ALT-TAB to exit gta and use the database. There is no conflicts within GTA at all. You just need to take your own pictures with a screen capture device and insert them into the photo ID area like you would a normal document. The pictures need to be a Bitmap image and cropped to about the size of the picture window in the field. Images are stored within the database, so you can delete them once inserted from your computer.

The fact that it's in Access means that this is probably the closest any modder has come to replicating a real police computer system.

I think I know what happened. I will save the database with an even earlier version of access and upload the fix. I'll post an update tonight!

Just a suggestion. Ever try using MySQL or even openoffice for those that don't have access to MS Office. I'm experienced with MySQL but I'm still learning the scripting of the game. Very nice job
