Updated Traffic Signals (LED and Housing) 1.1.0

(1 review)

5 Screenshots

About;

This is a simple texture mod for Liberty City traffic signals to be clean (no posters, stickers, flyers) and have a LED appeal to them. The traffic and crosswalk signals housing can be changed to a fresh yellow or complete black to give a more modern appeal to them, and it is a nice change to see from what we are used to. Anyone is capable of creating this simple modification, so do not worry about crediting and such. Now, if only I can figure out how to get the signals to be on the correct side of the intersections...

Included in the download is;

  • Yellow LED Traffic Light Variant
  • Black LED Traffic Light Variant
  • Updated Crosswalk Hand and Walk Textures
  • Original Backups
  • A readme

Install;

  1. Open your GTAIV Dirrectory, or if you wish, OpenIV
  2. *Bing-Bong* Please proceed to the highlighted route;   pc/data/maps/props/roadside
  3. Replace the traffic.img with the one provided. This will change the traffic signals and poles.
  4. *Bing-Bong* Please make a U-Turn, and head to;   pc/textures
  5. Replace the fxprojtex.wtd with the one provided. This will change the crosswalk icons.

No further interaction with files is needed from here.

( ) If you wish to revert the changes, there are original backup files provided.
