LSPD Reflective Vehicle pack. 1.0.0

(5 reviews)

14 Screenshots

Please do not upload to any other site.

Credits and Install are in the download.

You will have to use vehicles from this pack if you want to make reflective textures.

All textures are on a clear background.

So the vehicles will naturally spawn white.

Change the window tint on the Tahoe to 'None' with your trainer or the lightbar will come out black

You will need to install the vehicles.meta file or the Tahoe will fall over.

It goes in

mods / update / update.rpf / common / data / levels / gta5

Varying lighting set ups and equipment

Valor lightbar

The ALPR is set to extra_11, so it can be disabled if you wish

All textures are reflective and all of these vehicles give you the opportunity

to create your very own reflective textures without the hassle of using Zmodeler3

The reflective parts are...

All doors from the bottom of the windows to the bottom of the doors

Front wings

Rear quarter panels

Trunk/Boot lid face

Rear bumper face ( excluding the Taurus and Tahoe )

I have removed the door trim on some vehicles for visual reasons

When making a reflective texture

Put whatever you want to reflect light on a CLEAR background, save it as 'Reflective texture' and replace the 'Reflective texture/livery' in the vehicles .ytd

I advise not having anything black or any unit numbers on the reflective texture

You can install multiple liveries as long as there are no unit numbers on the parts listed above

(Roof, 'C' pillars and trunk/boot top are OK)

I'm currently working on adding more vehicles

Including pickups and other SUV's

This is my tutorial on how to create a reflective vehicle. It's 50 minutes long, but it's a step by step with narration and click by click.

If you want to try yourself, it's worth the watch.

Feel free to use for clans FiveM YouTube etc etc etc.

If used for a YouTube video please post a link to this page or my YouTube channel

I personally think it's great you've chosen to share how you've added such a nice look, I didn't even realize it was possible. While I personally don't make vehicle mods, I'm glad the community is aware these things exist now.

Love it! Where’d you find those CVPI hubs?

It's a very cool model bud. Quite a few different options to choose from. You can basically mix and match and add what options you want on it. I wont use another CVPI base model now.

Interesting... Would this method be applicable to props? for example; street signs and traffic cones.

Funny you should ask that.

I was playing with the idea of reflective police barriers

Not a modder, but I had the idea when I seen this - it would add some nice QoL to patrols

I'll have a toy around with a barrier and see how it goes.

I understand that upload was from February, and I haven't used them myself.... but I wanted to say that your video tutorial on making the vehicles reflective compatible was amazing. I've been making textures since late 2016, and have wondered about the idea of reflective textures (especially for ghost/stealth designs) for quite a while. I've also considered getting zmodeler, but wasn't sure I'd use it enough to make the subscription worth it.......

This tutorial is really making me consider it again. Not that my budget or my time needs another hit, but I think you may just push me into giving the actual vehicle models a shot versus just making the skins. 🙂

Thanks for all the hard work you put into this content!

Thanks bud. It's always worth the $4.50 per month. And the best part is, if Zmod isn't for you, then the licence runs out after 30 days and there's no obligation to renew it.

I hope you stick with it and we get to see some awesome model on her and other sites too.

I've installed and created the account. The 15 day free trial is staring at me XD I'm currently studying up on the controls of the program before activating the trial. I'm almost to the point of no return 😉

Go for it bud. With a 15 day free trial, you've nothing to lose and lots to gain.
