I have this same problem using the sp install. Works fine but as soon as I start to zoom in at all so I can see street names it reverts back to the vanilla map.

Are you using it in FIVEM? In SP it should work as I provided the same one that works properly in my game if your in FiveM and have this issue I would try using the sp mapzomedata otherwise I sadly can't really help you as the base of this map the I built upon came with those mapzoomdata's you could also try other map mods map zoomdatas as they could work.

I'm not using it in FiveM. Installed everything from the sp install including the mapzoomdata.

ok I see, I would maybe try the five m mapzoom or try putting the file in again. Tomorrow I will look into it more and see if I can find any other reason it would do that. Sorry your having troubles

Putting in the FiveM mapzoom file fixed it. Not sure why that would be but it seems to be working now 👍 Looks great thanks for the help 😁

I will try the FiveM mapzoom and see. I just tried putting the original mapzoom back in but its still doing the same thing with that one. It's not a big deal I'll try a few things and if I can't get it working I'll just go back to the vanilla map for now.  I've never done anything with the map before so I don't know anything about it. Looks really good I'd definitely  rather use this than the vanilla map so hopefully it gets figured out.

 

Yeah sorry it's not working for you I'm gonna make sure that the files are correct but yeah I would just mess around with it and see maybe open up your original mapzoom and compare it with the one i provided you will see immediately if numbers are the same or different between the two. Good luck I hope you can get it.

Just got this after editing my previous comment so idk if you saw it but the FiveM mapzoom file fixed it so I'm all set now. Thank you looks great 👍

Try putting in the FIVEM mapzoomdata.

Whenever you close out of the map and go back in, it returns to the fully zoomed out state. Any way to fix this?

Sorry, no that's what the base map does for some reason.

I'm having the same zooming issue. I've tried all sorts of variations using the SP map zoom meta with SP YTDs, FiveM  map zoom meta with FiveM YTDs, SP map zoom meta with FiveM YTDs, and FiveM map zoom meta with SP YTDs. Regardless of what I've tried, the zoom issue still persists. Is there any advice someone could give me on how to resolve this? I really really love this map and would like to have it with me!

is anyone having problems using any map mod since the update? I'd love to have this map back in, however nothing pops up other than the blips when in pause to view map. Is there a fix coming for this issue as I did not have it before the update came.

Is it possible to have it on a minimap hud i saw that on various fivem servers but i don't know how to do it

Looks like the mapzoom does not work because he addressed in his files this:
"Map With streetnames and Adresses\GTAV SP\mods\common\data\ui"

But when you take a closer look at gta v you would see that...

this path here

   "...\Grand Theft Auto V\common\data\ui\mapzoomdata.meta"    

does not exist in GTA. So that means it would replace nothing.

So i thought maybe its... the common.rpf so i put the mapzoomdata.meta into

   "...\Grand Theft Auto V\common.rpf\data\ui\mapzoomdata.meta"    

aaaand yes. That just fixed the Zoom Error
