Information:

 

Happy Late Easter Everyone!

After 6 months of blood, sweat and pure enraging anger, I'm pleased to present you guys with the Los Santos Police Service Mega-pack. Styled off Toronto Police Service, the pack features a custom made Excalibur light bar which features a dual rotor in the centre, which has dual colour to it (and coronas to match!). And of course, the traffic units in the pack feature TPS style arrowboards. This pack is big enough to cover and reduce many crime types across Los Santos, and includes divisions such as Patrol, Traffic, Slicktop/Unmarked, Emergency Task Force, and Marine. 

 

It's been a long road but it's finally here. Hope you all enjoy.

  • 2010 Ford Crown Victoria - Slicktop/Unmarked vehicle

This pack has various toggleable extras:

  • All vehicles: Rambar (extra_12), 

These can be toggled on/off in any trainer.

 

This file contains ARROW BOARDS on two of it's vehicles. The key's for this are: 'Alt + [' for the arrow boards to be raised. Press it again for them to lower. Standard 'K' key for the lights (as default).

Known Bugs:

  • Vehicles with arrowboards (Traffic units) can cause R* editor to crash if it's used during the recording. Having the board either up or down when recording should not crash the editor.

I didn’t notice it my end. I’ll ask around in my discord. To be honest I’ve updated this pack a lot now, and it’s exhausting me. I’ll take it down if its that bad and reupload when it’s better made.

Amazing Pack, I only have one thing that isn't quite right. The CVPI and the FPI slicktops - TPS have rear window LED red/blue or red/red depending on the year. The purpose is because without the Excalibur the slicktops didn't have sufficient 360degree lighting. Here is a video, very briefly showing a TPS stealth traffic unit code 3.

That's interesting, but this pack isn't dully based off TPS.

That's fair enough. But you put so much effort into these vehicles and for those of us who live in Toronto and York Region and surrounding areas, having a pack which is so close to perfect. You can imagine a small but important thing like that would make us just ask the question. Nothing more than a suggestion. Its all excellent work. Thank you for your efforts on the pack.

Is this the way the arrows are supposed to flash? Also, rotators spin fine, just seem dim. It's probably my fault... I have some mods to my visualsettings...

looks good, but one issue exist here.

window tint...it's getting dark so that I can't see the  LED lights through the rear window.

the cvpi (police spot) for me will leave some lights on (not rotating) after i shut them off. any suggestions?

all files assigned as required to their mapped locations

Yes, you can change it using the TA button that comes with ELS. Use a visual enhancer such a small RadianceV.

 great thanks - i've subsituted the original carvariations with another to place in another slot and it works fine in the alternate slot

    Cant seem to get my arrow up im pressing Alt and [ the problem is  you need to press 2 buttons to get the [ so that means you need to press Alt then Right Alt and 8 to get it up doesnt work and when i do Alt and 8 doesnt work either

    I am trying to install this but I cannot find this "patchday18ng" folder (using OpenIV) on this installation address: mods> update> x64> dlcpacks> patchday18ng

     

    Latest I see is patchday17ng. Pls help!

    You can use patchday17ng. As long as there is a vehicles.rpf file there under levels>gta5 you should be good to go!

    Sorry pretty new at moding how do I replace Replace the carcols.ymt in this file. Do I delete all original carcols with the ones you put in the download? I downloaded another car and there top lights don't work I want to make sure the ones I get from you do

    Just drag and drop the carcols file into the folder specified in then ReadMe, and it’ll replace itself :)

    Police3 windshield is showing the template version. Having issues with some of the cars where the windows cannot be broken.

    I will take a look at that tonight, and some windows don’t break due to base model issues, but I can take a look at that too.

    Should be changeable by cycling through the secondary lighting in ELS. I can't remember tho, it;s been a while

    I've already tried that what I mean is I only got the diamond shaped  figures not an arrow like ''<<< or >>>'' anyother options maybe I did not see something?
