DESCRIPTION:

Hi. I had the idea of collecting more realistic sounds for weapons. My goal is to secure the shootings of the game to those of the real life to get a greater immersion during the shootouts in Los Santos. I've extracted sounds from gunshots from games like Far Cry 4, Battlefield 4 and real weapons sound plus I've extracted sounds from distant shots of movies like Heat (1995).
The objective of my mod is to obtain the sound immersion of the scene of the robbery of the bank and shootout with the LA police that appears in the film Heat (1995). I attach the video of this scene which is a work of art of the cinema

Also, I wanted to improve the sounds of explosions to deliver an experience similar to an urban combat.

INSTALLATION (OpenIV):

 

-There are 3 versions of the mod in the 7z (RSW45.7z file):

RSE4.5 (Sound_Only).oiv -> This version only installs the sounds without any meta files that modify the gameplay. It is a version compatible with other mods. If you have version 4.4 installed, install this version as an update.

RSE4.5_AK47_Sound2.oiv ->This version installs the full mod with an alternate sound for the Assault Rifle (Ak47). This Ak47 sound setting has no sound for the silenced version.

RSE4.5_AK47_Default.oiv -> This is the default version of the mod.


-OIV Package Installation
-Run OpenIV > Tools > Package Installer (Choose version)
-Install On Mods Folder Option
-Enjoy!

You should edit the camera movement while shooting aswell.

Id leave a review, but its telling me I need to download the file. Which obviously I've already done.

 

I love these! They sound amazing and made gameplay truly immersive for me. 

Heres just a quick video showing the sounds in game with a bunch of background stuff going on.

It recorded a bit distorted with the audio. But in game it sounds perfect.

Oh, good gameplay. I have updated the mod and it is on the web gta5mods. The latest version (Realistic Weapons Sounds 3.5) has better sounds than this versión:

Just installed the mod but after first shot it just crashes my game, what I have to do ?

Some are realistic, some are not. You see, the problem is with automatic gun sounds. Each shot should be at least as loud as a pistol shot. But they're much quieter.

    There's some occasional high-pitched clicking noises that occur during shootouts with this mod installed.

    Excellent mod. I will warn anyone ahead of time I could not get this to work with VisualV. I am okay with not using VisualV though.

    I am having the same issue, just spent 3 hours trying to get LSPDFR working now just installed this and it is completely wrecked. How do I fix this?

    My OIV package installer doesn't even recognise the file, it's invisible for it. Any idea on how do I fix that?
