Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to  your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

 

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

 

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

 

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and  AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

 

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released

  • Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
  • Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
  • Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
  • Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
  • Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
  • Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
  • ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

 

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

Maybe try to uninstall then reinstall ASI loader and OpenIV.ASI in the ASI Manager. Restart PC.

I think yes because the ambulance els files are working and I don't know, els do not create an log file anymore...

Yes it's still don't work, asi loader, and els do not show any error but els still says "<FILEV> Vehicle information retrieved. Loaded [ 1 ] ELS-enabled model(s)." Ambulance still works but the rest, not els.asi and the rest is reinstalled and I tried it every other slot isn't working atm....

Ya, I had it all installed right, something just wasn't working, So I did a fresh install and reinstalled the mods/scripts and everything is working fine now. Thanks!

yeah sometimes its just a quirky thing, glad its working now. One thing to keep in mind, sometimes when you download an older mod that has older files. If you let it overwrite everything, it could make your files out of date. Not sure if that made sense.

Ya, I noticed that in some of the scripts.. Was probably what happened.

I had the same problem. But around a month I lost all my plugins etc. had ro reinstall everything, think this will help, but I think there's maybe an other way.

    I dont think them driving off has anything to do with ELS, I could be wrong.

    It isn't Els it's a diffrent mod idk which one but I reinstalled everything, ragehook and lspdfr too. Maybe that's an idea? Save your inis etc.

    ELS just flat out stopped working for me. I've even redownloaded it on its own. Tried to run the game with LSPDFR and ELS with an ELS car only but it just wont work....

    Is anyone having the same problem I am. With the lights not working at all it was working just fine a few days ago now today nothing. Everything works sounds and all just no lights at all can anyone one help if having the same problem.

    Check your xml again, they may have messed up.

    X activates blackout mode even though I have it set to OemPeriod. Any help?

    Did you use the correct key number? I think i read somewhere, some of the keys cannot be changed. Im not 100% sure on that though.

    " \ " is the stock key for blackout mode, which the key # is 220. On some vehicles you can just cycle through with H to get the blackout.

    The key I assigned it does work. But it also registers the x key

    I was editing my post :)

    That may be a lspdfr thing with the keys, so many are conflicting so its hard to find a balance. Do you not like the stock location of " \ "

    What do you me they I have been useing it for weeks with no problem. I have not touched the XML at all so was there an update that could have messed with it. And if I just reinstall it should fix then if it is XML right.

    How many ELS vehicles do you have installed? Are they all acting the same way? Ive seen many times already, when people add files, they always replace the old. Sometimes the new files are older, therefore outdating things.  And yes if it is a bad xml, then it will fix the problem for that vehicle only, but if all your vehicles lights are messed up, then a ELS file got messed up.

    well I got it working I had to go into open iv and uninstall and reinstall the asi loader and the open asi then restarted the computer. after I did that all was good and working thanks for the help guys hope this helps anyone with the same problem.

    I'm just very specific with my key assignments lol. I prefer '.' to be the blackout key because the default was already being used by another one of my mods.
