This mod is a model and texture replacement for the LSPD SWAT (s_m_y_swat_01) ped. Using Zmodeler 3, this is a custom ped made from existing parts edited to fit together in order to provide a semi-accurate representation of the real life LAPD SWAT officers.

This model can be used with RDE, just put the files in correct locations.

No config file edits are needed in order for the ped to spawn correctly. Just replace the files and all variations will show up when spawned by dispatch. Untested in story mode, but nothing bad should happen.

This ped model will be inculded in RDE 3.0 and beyond.

Installation:

Install with OpenIV:
Files from "Model and textures" folder (assuming Realism Dispatch Enhanced or GTA Realism is installed):
- "componentpeds" folder to update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday4ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\patchday4ng.rpf
- "pedprops" folder to update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday4ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\patchday4ng_p.rpf

Cop Holster plugin config:

While that would be cool to see, AFAIK there is only one (!) woman in the whole LAPD SWAT. I think that will be better left to EUP (which will start getting model edits soon as well!). Then again, I might do something like this in the unspecified future.

However, I'll have something very, very (tacti)cool for this and other SWAT peds soon :) Stay tuned!

    @minddriver, yep, check my gallery and my thread. All of this and more is going to be in RDE 3.0 (when it finally comes out).

    @Yard1  The readme says "assuming realism dispatch enhanced or GTA realism is installed."  What if we don't have those installed?  Will the model still work right?

    Yeah, you just have to rename the files and put them in correct locations

    How do I install the cop holster config line, I've tried to put in the Cop Holster XML document but it did'nt work!! Somebody please assist
