same here! requesting back up and a couple others says and shows he requests it and hear sirens but no one shows up! Idk what to do?

In your vocaldispatch ini there is this

//The distance from the player backup will spawn - lower numbers are quicker but less realistic. This only affects internal VocalDispatch functions, not any external functions VocalDispatch uses from other plugins.
MinimumSpawnDistance=300

I don't know for sure, but maybe adjusting it down to something like 50 or 100 might help? 

Just a bump, I used to love using this mod, but ever since re-downloading the 0.4 compatible version it hasnt worked. In this F4 console i can see that it all loads up sucessfully after I go on duty but when i press RAlt nothing happens, its set to RMenu and set to give me a tone to say it's recieving but i dont even hear the tone. How do i fix this?

Forgive me if I'm being dumb here, but isn't rmenu your right windows key? Is that a valid key to have it bound to? Have you used it that way before now?

RMenu is Right Alt, it's just the default settings of VocalDispatch.

So i've got a few questions since i could never get this to work, despite multiple attempts.

I have my windows locale set to Japanese since  spend alot of time translating and using programs that require it, so i'd rather not change it if possible.

Meanwhile my Windows 10 is not in english by default.

My questions are as follows.

Would installing the English language pack make this work?

What does installing a language pack actually do? Will it have any effects i should be aware of?

Alternatively is there a way i could just keep the current settings and get it to work? Translating it into the language my windows is in would be too much work.

I'd really love to get this to work, but i'm hesitant on installing windows things that may change things in my daily routine.

love this mod i try and use it all the time but im having trouble with getting commands...i was wondering is there a list some where to download?

If you open up the xml files (default, PoliceSmartRadio, ext)  located in the vocal dispatch folder in your plugins/lspdfr folder, you can see exactly what it is listening for. 

This plugin needs to be put in the Essentials section. This kicks the fun up x1000 for me. Plus, I'm not fumbling with keybindings.

A helpful hint: make sure your mic volume is turned up. I've had some issues in the past, but once I make sure the volume is up, it works fantastic!!

This really is a great plugin. If you're using a controller and have a lot of plugins installed then you are likely using one hand on your controller and mashing some commands on your keyboard to do certain things, such as call a coroner/EMS or request backup, and if you have Officer Status Plugin then you're likely hitting the F7 Key and Scrolling through a horrid menu. Well this plugin stops all of that, you can either hit the Right Alt (Which is RMenu in Microsoft's language) or UP on your D-Pad to activate PTT [Push-to-Talk] which allows you to speak directly to Dispatch. A full list of commands is in the attached PDF file just in case you forget what to say. BUT, yup there it is, I'm from Sunderland. A city in the UK where we do not speak the queen's tongue. I'm sure a lot of you have watched Geordie Shore? Well, that's what I sound like. "Dispatch, Show me: Ten-Eight" sounds, in my accent, more like "Dispatch,  Shoo me: Ten-Eat" and Vocal Dispatch has no idea what I'm saying. 

I've posted this before doing the Speech Recognition Voice Training, I will now sit and complete that and come back once it is done and after a patrol to see if there is any difference.

So I turned on Speech Recognition for Windows 10 and opened up a notepad. I said standard commands, such as "Dispatch, Show me: 10-8" and "Shots Fired!" to see what was picked up by the built in software. Here are some examples:

I said: Shots fired!

PC Heard: Shots fired!

HURRAY! That is one I can use when people are putting holes in me, although if you hit R-Alt and R-Ctrl together it simulates a panic button... 

I said: Dispatch, show me: 10-8

PC Heard: This Perch, surely cannot.

Looks like I'll be using the good old fashioned slap-the-keyboard-with-your-right-hand-while-holding-down-the-trigger-with-your-leg-and-steering-with-your-left-thumb technique.

But seriously as an end result I cannot say that this is a bad plugin, I will still continue to use it for the ease of the Panic button and sometimes I'll give it a couple of tries to show my status, but I cannot put any blame on the developers for having an accent that has came straight out of Game of Thrones. I will continue to support the dev and the contributors as much as possible!

Do I need to change the folder location for any of the files? I am getting an error message when I load it in the game.

I have everything installed correctly but every time I go on duty it says vocal dispatch: there was a error while loading, check the ragepluginhook.log file, but there seems to be no file in my gta directory, can someone please help

do we need to put the contents from Police scanner into Grand Theft Auto V/lspdfr or Grand Theft Auto V/lspdfr/audio/scanner

having problems, it always doesnt understand what im saying, it keeps saying please try again. Done speech recognition already. Win 10 lspdfr 0.4.1, please help

It seems the plugin is unable to recognize some commands. I use Ultimate Backup and although it says it works with VocalDispatch, it seems it doesn't.

SOME commands/codes go through, like saying "Show me 10-8", but others aren't recognized for me at all, like "Show me 10-11".

How do i get it to Plate Check and Ped Check? i have added it into the XML but it isnt working keeps saying it didnt understand. But all backups and ems/fire works

Have you installed Police Smart Radio? It has the script for PED Check and Plate Check.

Everything seems good to go, however whenever I click the button on the controller to talk (I set it to RightThumb), I instantly get the message "Didn't Copy, please say again." without even having a chance to talk to the mic. It just pops up this message.

The sad part is, the mod worked great at first, then I reinstalled it to change the keybinding and now I get this problem. 

I am using a good headset, however it seems that this is not the problem. The thing is that I don't even get a chance to talk. After 3 or 4 failed attempts to talk by mashing the button,  the plugin just stops working and I can't contact dispatch at all (I no longer here the radio sound to talk or get the message that it failed to copy).

Outstanding mod and ability...… this mod really does bring that missing ability we all have been wishing for thank you I am like a kid on xmass morning I now have a renewed interest in this game and the concept of modding !! works great first time!!! 

can someone help me? I have problems with code2 backup. When ever I say "request backup" VC recognize it and I hear some other police officers responding that they are on their way but no one shows up. It works perfectly fine for ped check, plate check, panic, coroner, ambulance,... the only issue is with code 2 backup
