 No, this is not an ELS model. Most, if not all vehicle models offered on this site will indicate whether or not the vehicle in question is ELS or Non-ELS compatible in the 'File Information' area located to the right of each page where it says 'ELS Compatibility'.

Hello. Nice mod, but I wish to know how to unistall it... I wanna try other models, and I don't understand how it is reversible. Plese, give me any istruction.

Hi!

Just follow the installation instruction but do it on a reverse order.

But... how? I still don't understand how I can uninstall it. The installation instructions say to install a package with OpenIV... so should I uninstall the package? If yes, how?

Would be awesome, but the carvariations lines seem to cause a repeatable CTD when loading the game. If I don't use the lines, and just replace Sheriff, it will load, but the lights are in the wrong place, so it NEEDS the carvariations, and thats the issue.

Installing it to mods folder with the Modding DLC pack if that matters.

why are some of bugs' cars non els compatible???

can anyone give me there vehicles meta and carvariations settings to get the lights to work properly for this vehicle please?

Alright. The car itself is great but everytime I turn on the lights the pushbar starts flashing. How do I get that to stop?

To fix the missing lightbar problem, add this into your vehicles.meta file:

    <extraIncludes>
        <Item>EXTRA_1</Item>
      </extraIncludes>

and

<requiredExtras>EXTRA_1</requiredExtras>

I have the same problem like others. The lights pixels are visible outside the lightbar. I've tried of course the provided carvariations.dat (I've made a manual installation) and I've also tried some other numbers in lightSettings value but the problem is there. Is there anyone who had made the lightbar work properly and if so, how? Thanks! 

Just curious why this package installer is going into a patchday5ng?  Should be its own dlc pack if anything.  Being in patchday5ng it will easily get overwritten with a later patchday.

Thank you for finding that.  No where in the documentation to where it was so we can add liveries etc.

WHAT THE PATH OF FILE VEHICLES AND VISUAL HELP PLS

I have a question, I install it by package installer. which dlc folder it goes in? because I check my edit dlc and nothing been added i need help

I am having an issue with the light bar, I had previously installed under the same Sheriff name, this https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/2005-lasd-cvpi

And when I had installed this mod, ELS isn't working, meaning I cannot select what siren modes I want, it only allows me to turn on both my lights and sirens. And it uses the ELS mode from my aforementioned LASD Car any help would be appreciated 

There is an earlier post here, but I cannot find where this vehicle was installed. And I just want to delete it without having to fully uninstall my game

Based on the assembly.xml file (after unzipping the OIV installer), it seems that there are multiple files that were modified.

"mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday5ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf" has sheriff.yft, sheriff_hi.yft, sheriff.ytd, sheriff+hi.ytd

"mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mpchristmas2/dlc.rpf/common/data" has carvariations.meta

"mods/update/update.rpf/common/data" has visualsettings.dat

"mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5" has vehicles.meta

You cannot simply delete the .meta or .dat files since they are used by other vehicles. You will have to copy paste the entry of the default sheriff lines into the modded meta files (carvariations and vehicles meta files). As for visualsettings.dat, that only affected the emergency lighting brightness so you should be OK with that left in there.
