You need to open it in Notepad++ and copy the text,

Create a new text document, and name it carcols.ymt and save it as a .ymt,

make sure to paste the text inside before saving,

then you can use OpenIV's search option to locate carcols.ymt, make sure it is the one inside the /mods folder.

Otherwise this isn't going to work in singleplayer.
