You're also missing the ELS xml file. I mean your title doesn't say ELS but the file information does so... yeah lol

It's a basic setup, so there's not a determined pattern set for it. People can set it how they please. But I'll fix the title.

yeah for me the whole lightbar just turns on steadyburn all around and its not even being controlled by ELS. So idk what to do here, can I just rename one of my other vehicle XML files to this one and have it work?

Well yea, if you don't have an xml with the same name as the vehicle it won't work. So copy and paste an existing xml, and rename it to usafmerit (or whatever you installed as)

Handsup!

USAF SF are both police and soldiers that defend bases right?

Oh ok I thought they were vehicle specific beyond just the file name. I never really looked at them all that closely and assumed that maybe the xml files also had data for specific lightbars and such. If not thats cool too haha

They'd be called Airmen and they would get their law enforcement powers from the Air Force rather than from whatever state they are in. Their training is very different than that of a regular civilian police officer and they enforce very different laws. But they are basically the police force for the USAF.

Yeah, of course, but do they also perform defence roles? Here in the UK, we have separate forces for Policing and actual military defending of air force bases.

they patrol in and around the military base

Just thought I'd throw it out there for minor detail's sake... license plate code would be "G43" not "643."

That style of US Gov't Plate (along with G-series codes e.g. G41, G43, etc.) are for GSA-Leased assets... basically every DoD non-tactical vehicle in this day and age.

Source: I manage vehicles in the Air Force... also this.

Then yes for all branches of the US military their respective police forces, be it Military Police or MP in the US Army and Marine Corps, Master At Arms in the US Navy, Maritime Enforcement in the USCG, or Security Forces in the USAF, are the primary law enforcement and base security. For base security purposes though on many bases they are supplemented usually by civilian police assigned to the base.

It should be AF not G43 per your document.  I have pictures of the USAF Reserver/guard base patrol units from the wing of Pittsburgh.  I be uploading more in future.   They say a picture is worth 1000 words.

Yes.  In past when I was in the Airforce, they were two different jobs and two different career fields.  They have been combined.

I think I know the job I've been doing for 12 hours a day the last 4 years. G41, G43, etc are, as I said, GSA LEASED vehicles.

Blue-fleet vehicles (those that aren't leased but are actually OWNED by the AF have an AF identifier.

Based on your comments I have to say you do not.

So then why is it I have a picture of a car with AF?  You Make zero mention of the AF Plate designation in our post and claim they all have G41 or G43.    FYI that not the only car I have pictures of from one event with that style plate.   I got a fire truck and patrol car.      I also not saying they only us the AF Designation.  But they do use it and what appears to me be a large number of vehicles.

I also got a picture of Wright-Patterson AFB fire truck and guess what.  It also has an AF  plate.

Yet another rare AF plate

Another rare AF

and another

I like this car, the only problem I have with it is the Light Emission from the lightbar is too light, like the red is more of a yellow, how do I change that?

Look man, I'm not going to keep arguing with you.

The whole point of my original comment is that Black Jesus likely saw a picture of the license plate and mistook the G for a 6, and more than anything, I was just being a smartass.

If you want that badly to wrap yourself up in your DD214, crack open a cold one, and smile at the thought that all Air Force vehicles have an AF designation, and that some random guy on the internet is a moron who likes lying about license plate codes for God knows what reason, then hey, you go ahead. Just remember to hydrate.

I was a VCNCO for 3 different squadrons and I can't recall ever seeing any vehicles actually owned by the Air Force with AF___ plates.  Most of them were leased.  I seem to recall a few special purpose vehicles: tow tractors, de-icing vehicles, etc. that all had G___ license plates.  Then again that was a few years and many beers ago.

Aren't the ELS .xml files specific for each vehicle and their lighting patterns, or am I mistaken? I'm kinda new to this
