What's New in Version 3.0.0

Released

Update in 3.0:

 

  • All Charges and Citations has been totally revamped and been redone from the 0.

  • Charges and Citations that was unrealistic or repetitive were removed.

  • Penalties, (jail time, fines, license suspension...) were carefully analyzed and made as realistic as possible.

  • There are offenses that are normally infractions that can be misdemeanors here, which is not absurdly unrealistic. (Example : In Texas it is a misdemeanor to litter or fail to signal and many other "petty" offenses that don't have jail time can be arrestable.)

 

This update was aimed to have everything you need in policing, to have the best and most realistic charges and citations you can have on LSPDFR.

 

To all the contributors, you have made this experience great and appreciate all of your criticism.

Without your criticism, this wouldn't be as decent as it is.

I am not aiming for the best, but aiming for the most realistic.

I will add one thing, you could easily remove the warrant section as typically if the subject has an outstanding warrant you would just charge them for whatever the warrant is for.

    driving suspended or revoked should be a charge not a citation (at least imo)

    Would love to see firearm related charges in here. Seems like that's one of the things missing: Possession of illegal firearms, automatic weapon etc. etc.

    @Airwolf95 I just updated that! They should be little bit down the charge list but if you can't find them after redownload, let me know, and @Bumble Bee they are in there as "License Violations, Vehicle Registration Violations" on Citations, but as of the Charges, I am going to keep those there though as a charge can be brought upon you if it's your 2nd 3rd time not having (license / (x-days)exp license / etc.). Certain situations make it where the charges for those are valid. Thank you for looking out though! I like the feedback.

    Hello downloaded your mod and I have to say it’s very detailed and great, I do have a suggestion to add on a charge for possession of PCP/Angel dust and then adding more degrees of fleeing and eluding as of now I only saw one but I think you should do Fleeing & Eluding 1st degree or 2nd degree and lastly 3rd degree each one would carry a heavier penalty or add in Aggravated fleeing & eluding. Hope to see it implemented

    @Scooby20 @D.Riggins4L01 Mr. Riggins I will for sure be adding that, thank you for a notice, I will have that done by 6PM today! And Scooby, those boxes are from CompuLite 1.5.3.0 beta and higher idk what he's on now, I haven't checked for a couple months. Last I heard he hasn't been active for quite sometime.

    hey im having a little trouble, compulite wont open and whenever i try to view the xml file for "charges" it says there is a error. "

    This page contains the following errors:

    error on line 382 at column 30: xmlParseEntityRef: no name

    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error."

    Continue the great work and continue to listen to the community, you are going to go places especially with how active you are and quick to produce updates. The best Compulite and most detailed I have seen on this site. Definitely going to keep using it and keep checking in for updates

    New charges that could be added is Criminal possession of a firearm or felon in possession of a firearm/ammunition.

    Expired Vehicle Insurance with different amounts of time. Failure to insure a vehicle.

    Missing "Attempted" charges for things like murder, also missing general battery/assault charges outside of LEO's it seems and stuff related to other deadly weapons (knives etc).

    charged someone with fleeing and alluding and they got 20 years bit harsh I think lol really like the charges so far!
