Description

This mod adds police vests, belts, and other equipment to GTA V.

Features

The vests fit properly with various outfits! No awkward gaps or improper sizing!

Realistic gear such as earpieces and realistic vests!

Installation

First, install EUP.

To use the new vests, you must install this mod too.

 

It is strongly recommended to back up the original files before installation!

  1. Open the File folder.

  2. Using OpenIV, navigate to:
    Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\eup\dlc.rpf\x64\eup_componentpeds.rpf

  3. Open the corresponding folder (e.g., vest, earpiece, etc.), and place the folder (e.g., mp_m_freemode_01_mp_m_vinewood) that contains the files you want to use.

  4. In-game, change the TASK category.

  5. If your character’s vest (or other item) has changed to the one you installed, the installation was successful.

If installed correctly, the added folders should look like this:

Installation Q&A

Q. How do I install this mod in FiveM?
A. This mod is developed for single-player use only and has not been tested in FiveM.
Please do not ask for FiveM installation support.

Q. There is no Vinewood or MpCloth folder.
A. Simply add the folders by dragging and dropping them. They will be loaded automatically.

Q. The textures appear incorrectly.
A. This usually happens due to an installation mistake.
Reinstall the mod and make sure the texture and vest use the same ID.

Q. Can I load multiple textures?
A. Yes. If installed in the MpCloth folder, you can load up to 26 textures.
If files with the same name already exist, you may either overwrite them or rename the .ydd and .ytd files and place them accordingly.

Q. Can I install the vest in other slots, such as Accessories or Task items?
A. Yes, if you rename the files correctly, they will work.
However, slots for props like sunglasses, hats, and earrings will not work.

I just tried to move the vest to the mp clothes folder and it worked

    Hey, try resintalling with the file I attatch. You'll need to use OpenIV to install the items into "mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\eup\dlc.rpf\x64\eup_componentpeds.rpf" in there. The instructions on BenzoEffects "EUP Vest & Earpiece" video is super detailed and should help you out!

    Hey so I just moved the MP folders from the vests to the MP clothes folder, I'm not sure if I installed it correctly or not, or how to change the ingame catagory to "TASK" like it says to do in the instructions. I was wondering if you could send me your file path for your mpclothes folder and where you drop the vest(s) and how to change the catagory to "TASK".

    There really isn't many help resources as far as errors when installing, just lots of videos of the vests being installed and it magically working, so I'm glad you were able to get it to work.

    I dont understand something, how am I supposed to use the extra textures you made in the texture file if they are in jpg ?

    A few people have been mentioning that Vest 12 is quite a different green, i have that problem too. Have already tried to reinstall and as far as i can tell everything is installed correctly.

    Has anyone figured it out? and sorry if its already in here but there are so many msgs to read lol

    Hello. Does anybody know what slot these vests go into? I installed vest 2 and then added the k9 texture but I cant find it anywhere. I also put in the clear earpiece and also cant find that. I saw someone say it was slot 38 but I cycled through all the vests and I just cant find it.

    I am very much stuck on trying to download this mod, I do not have a folder called "EUP" beyond reaching dlcpacks, not only that but it says to open the folder for Vests, and to also place a different folder but doesn't go into detail on where to put said file or what to do with the vest folder once its opened, I also have no idea what "Task" category means so even if I got that far I would be stuck again.. and that I also need to download a sub mod from another site which also I have a hard time downloading considering I have no idea what numbers to add or what folders to add these "Clothing Models" too, I need alot of help with these OPP mods.. I don't know how to code

    theres a mod from GTA5Mods you gotta install to get the rest of the vest. He linked it in the description.

    I cant find vest 12 anywhere, ive re-loaded it more times than I can count and I cant find it with eup or the locker room

    Vest 10 nowhere to be found at 8.3. I recall using it on daily back on to 8.2 and 8.1 with no issues. Any solution?

    Yo when I installed everything i needed too some of the vests do not pop up. Like Vest 5, Vest 10, and some variations of vest 2. Any solutions for this problem?

    I guess i need a better tutorial because i somehow managed 2 times fok up my entire game directory and when i load LSPDFR or EUP plugin it crashed. xD even with completely removed EUP and those vest from game i wasnt able to start LSPDFR plugin.

    Hi! Can someone help me , because vest 5 doesn't work. Some other vests work but this one I need the most and it doesn't get into the game. I have mp clothes and the mp_m mp clothes folder  so I will be greatful if somone would help me

    Does anyone know where in the EUP menu the earpieces are located? I downloaded both earpiece 1 & 2 but can't find them in the EUP menu under the "ear" accessories.
