It'd be helpful to the community if you included a video of how it sounds in-game.

I'll get to work on that

Edit: Video up

If you extract your own vehicles.oac from openiv and drop these in & reimport it, that should work too iirc

Well, this isn't working. I extracted vehicles.oac from the vehicle.awc file, copied your siren files, pasted them into the vehicles folder and readded it correctly. No siren + no sound for the doors, brakes...

If you have the modern siren pack what i do is put my sirens in the vehicles folder in there, then put that vehicles.awc in my game. (the only way i install sirens at this point, it's easier for me.)

Sounds very similar to the New Orleans EMS siren set up! Love it!

I'm having a huge issue with this siren I've tried the typical way of importing it in.  Extract vehicle into oac format

drag and drop the sirens in. Then go into open iv then drag and drop in the oac file and turn off edit mode and boot up the game.

Heres the weird part, when I boot up, everything appears fine at first until I spawn somewhere far away to test the siren

opening the door to the car is muted sitting in said car is unmuted closing the door of said vehicle is  muted engine is not muted siren is muted.

I am using a siren pack.

this is the base.

I've altered the ambulance siren, police siren, and FBI siren,

but left the fd siren alone!

can you help me fix this issue?

just incase you dont know but the sounds/ sirens folder only has a limited amount of space in which some siren files are too big for,  which then blocks out sound so in your case the car door and some sirens, if i was you i would keep witch ever siren u want in (e.g police, fd or ambulance) and replace or go back to the original sirens

hoped this helped
