Simple Fuel Script 1.6

(6 reviews)

1 Screenshot

Simple Fuel Script

I have stripped out the repair, and Car washing functions because I felt that it didnt fit in personally.

Defaults Values:

FuelCost = 1 - Allows user to define how much it will charge per fuel added

FuelAdd = 1 - Allows user to define how much fuel to add per second

FUELMILEAGE = 8 - Determines how much fuel is taken while idling

(Driving will consume more fuel based on RPM of the engine)

Controls:

Numpad 5 - Refuel

How FUELMILEAGE works:

FUELMILEAGE = FUELMILEAGE / 50

example FUELMILEAGE (8) = 8 / 50 -> 0.16 fuel consumed while idling

Numpad 5.

And do you have permission to do this? Take another mod and edit it and then upload it?

@ Wmai20 Numpad 5 to refuel

@ theninja35 Yes. I have permission from author (He gave me source code because he has canceled all development for this)

@ Darkangel Yeah thats what alot of people say =p (@ darkangel check console ~ use page up and down see if it crashes on load for you if so tell me the error)

@ ilwolf it starts automatically as long as its placed in /scripts/ & you have a valid scripthookdotnet.asi and scripthook.dll in the root of GTA

Nice thing that you 've uptated the mod since it used not to work in some cases (usually during game missions). But I would like a version with repair and cleaning options (maybe you could be able to turn them on or off from the ini file). Thanks

Sorry to say,Revan,but I just tested it in EFLC,and got an instant,straight-away crash.The exact one that used to occur before: Error in Script FuelCS.FuelScript:

Error during Tick in script 'FuelScriptCS.FuelScript':

					  GTA.NonExistingObjectException: Invalid call to an object that doesn't exist anymore!

						 at GTA.Vehicle.get_CurrentRPM()

						 at FuelScriptCS.FuelScript.FuelProgram(Object sender, EventArgs e)

						 at GTA.Script.TryTick()

						 at GTA.Script.DoTick()

						 at GTA.ScriptThread.OnTick()

Funny thing,it crashed quicker than the previous one xD

Works a treat for me straight out of the box. Maybe it is in conflict with another script for you guys? I only have ALM, LCPDFR, the TrafficFlow scripts and this in my scripts folder and they all play well together.

Gotta say, it was a little embarassing running out of gas in themiddle of a pursuit.... :whistling:

@ sc2142 What mods are you using that makes the text down bottom left? I can make a simple adjusted version for you so its above the radar (if you like) i feel middle of the screen would look ugly.

@ gorgonut I can try... Im not good at C# yet, mostly can fix things that are broke or need worked on.

@ Dhruv are you using any scripts that remove vehicles? (What mods are you using as well?)

@ OfficerArchie Yeah... =p I have run out of fuel in middle of a pursuit my self. Its even worse when your in MP racing mission and run out XD

yea i am having the same issue & error as dhruv in GTA IV too.i am using crime city script,ALM,traffic control system.are any of these conflicting with FUEL script?

Chip.

Members

this and lcpdfr and the traffic fix are the only scripts

Revan

@ayanpati they shouldnt conflict.. ill look over it some more.

@sc2142 ill work on moving the fuel meter above the radar for you, tbh I never seen text where its current location is.

Edit:

@sc2142 try this version http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?bkyoy74xh10kz86 I cant tell based on your screenshot and my game if its high enough to be out of your radar & speed thing. it should be though

@sc2142 thats because your using custom & the normal, remove the custom one.. your only ment to use one at a time.

Sorry,Revan.I'm reinstalling the game now.I'm in process of adding more scripts I need.It ain't crashing that much with the current ones.But it does,indeed.

raven i must say a lot of people might say its pointless doing what you done.......... however i'm not most people and i think you have done brilliant job i love it a lot more realistic than 1.5 and i've yet to come by any errors in the script. so well done and thank you very much :o)

Seems okay, but do we make the mileage higher or lower if we want to go farther with less gas? I don't understand, sorry, I'm tired...

Thanks.
