Supervillains 1.0

(10 reviews)

4 Screenshots

Hi fellow officers!

I was watching The Dark Knight where the GCPD try to escape the Joker in the tunnels, and I thought it would be fun to see some supervillains in LCPDFR, like Niko or Johnny.

This plugin will add 3 new callouts to LCPDFR, each one staring one of the 3 main characters from the GTA4 universe. They are stronger and more dangerous than the average perps so be careful when dealing with them because they just want to watch the world burn.

Callouts probality is set on Low so it doesn't happen everytime and stay unusual alerts.

The supervillains are:

Niko Bellic

He killed people, smuggled people, sold people, and now he is in Liberty City with a rocket launcher, approach him with extreme caution

Johnny Klebitz

He is a high rank member of the Lost Brotherhood, he is not really a nice guy and he might cause trouble by rioting with his crew.

Luis Lopez

He is a bodyguard but he is also suspected to be a dangerous murderer, the FIB might require your help to catch him.

You can see ingame footage here:

(I use first person mod to play)

This is my first script for LCPDFR, I hope you will enjoy it, please tell me if you run across some bugs

NEW in version 1.0

Added support for LCPDFR 1.0c (the StartCallout console command should work)

There was sometimes an error with Luis Lopez's Callout

NEW in version 0.95:

You can now use the console to trigger a Callout

StartCallout SVNiko

StartCallout SVLuis

StartCallout SVJohnny

What's New in Version 1.0

I like the idea! extreme terrorism is something well known in Liberty City :)

How about Pegorino doing illegal drugs or weapons on a ship? You could use the ship in the mission "A Dish Served Cold"

Really original idea by integrating the storyline characters with some action packed callouts all while keeping it balanced with the low probably. I look forward to giving it a play, great initiative though.

I cannot force one of those callouts, I get the normal ones. Such as "mugging".

Wow, great idea! But.. is it stable?
Btw. a Brucie and a group of street racers would be nice, or Playboy X and some of his people doing a shootout against another gang would be awesome too!

I love the idea. While originally you'd be on Niko's perspective doing all the damage, you are now on the law enforcement point of view trying to stop it.

Awesome script!

Works smoothly.

For those who cant get it to work.

It needs to go in to C -> Program Files -> Rockstar Games -> GTA IV -> LCPDFR -> PLUGINS

For people who want another view of how it goes.

A really fun mod, but it would be better if you had a config file or something so you can set the frequency of these callouts manually.

I would personally prefer these callouts to be extremely rare, so when it does happen it becomes a special and memorable event.

You actually can.

It will add the callouts with the implemented LCPDFR callouts. So you'll have a mugging one callout, then the next will be terrorist activity or whatever, and that will be Niko.

To make the callouts occur more often, open the LCPDFR.ini config file.

Look for and change the values.

[Callouts]

MaximumSecondsBeforeNewCallout=200 <--Max time in seconds to call a callout. 200 Seconds = ~3.3 minutes

MinimumSecondsBeforeNewCallout=25

Enabled=True

Multiplier=450 <--The higher this number, the more frequent callouts will occur.

Hope this helps!

Would love to see an update to plugin that works better with 1.0c

Everything seems to be working perfect.

Startcallout sv works again so people can force the callouts again.

They have been destroying me.

Gonna have to say Lenny, these callouts are a heck of a lot of fun! If I could make a request, it'd be to make more callouts like these, other characters in the story. A riot at a bowling alley perhaps?

I used the callout commands, but it just does a normal LCPDFR callout.. not the supervillians.
