Cant Play GTA IV from Steam Because of Product Key
There's thousands of people having this issue with GTA IV on Steam too, including me. When I bought it yesterday I got singleplayer running, but today can't even run singleplayer at all. GTA IV is now some waste of HDD space.

Dear Sir, Have you heard of an opinion?

A standalone game for LCPDFR
Really, all we need to do (as a community) is get other indie companies that have been creating sort of action/adventure titles or racing titles pull them together into one then get good driving, good singeplayer etc. Of course, this mod isn't 'as big' as the DayZ mod. If I had a choice of LCPDFR Standalone or DayZ Standalone, I would've picked LCPDFR Standalone. Anyhow, too bad this won't happen. But you know hope is there

A standalone game for LCPDFR
I agree. It might happen, if G17 'recruits' members into their team. You know, I'd be fine with a simple long road that stretches out for 500km of duplication but very good mod support than a huge city but little mod support. They would have to use a different engine (unless they buy the license from R*, but it costs quite a lot as far as I'm aware) but resorting to Unity wouldn't be too bad. Unity is, majorly, free but you could get this 'pro' version. If we, as a community, ever get to see an LCPDFR standalone It's probably gonnna be 2016 and beyond.

Good game for computers?
There's no FREE police simulators out there, as far as I know. Your best bet is to get GTA IV in the Steam Winter sales, it will be lowered in price 'dramatically'. There are other police simulators out there, but LCPDFR is the best one I've ever played. The rest are somewhat bad in my opinion. If you want some 'funkier' and 'unrealistic' gameplay, you might want to try APB Reloaded. I think it may of been shut down, not quite sure.

A standalone game for LCPDFR
I've been out there looking for some sort of LCPDFR-styled video game, yet I found none. Most of the ones I found very really bad (especially compared to this). Of course, developing a whole frikin' CITY would take... literally a year or so (highly depends if it's fictional or a real city). It sucks how G17 Media has such a small development team (I think it's around 10 people. Not sure O>O) I've been thinking (very thoroughly, from a developer's point of view) about this. My ideas; Base it off the New York Police Department. I've always imagined being a cop in New York, or more precisely New York City. Huge... just stunning. Yet again, this will take at least 2 years to develop due to research and actual modelling itself. Mod support- Yes, we know about the GTA IV PC modding community. But imagine this; you could easily create a police texture (or if you wish, create your very own model for either a fictional or some older/newer car). No need to download a crap ton of applications, watch thousands of tutorials and read modelling books. Just use Paint (no don't) and make a random Fashion Police texture for your Impala? ELS- ELS should be an actual feature, not an optional additional script thing. Obviously, many players hate the door glitch/bug that comes with ELS, but if you get around it, everyone will love it. Singleplayer, Co-Op and...- Singeplayer would be amazing. Imagine starting up the standalone and clicking on start new campaign, design your charcater and enter. No, not patrolling. Enter the academy! From the academy all the way to Commisioner? That would be very fun. With different options, open-world dynamic environments it would be plain amazing. Co-op could similar to the current limited multiplayer for LCPDFR. Imagine patrolling around the 'city' that the standalone has, then suddenly get a call out for some robbery? This would involve communications and different strategies. It would be greatly... well... fun. And lastly... Cops 'n' Robbers! Wouldn't it be fun? I've seen a game similar to this cops 'n' robbers concept titled 'Police Warfare'. I believe it's (sadly) cancelled. Imagine playing in a... dunno... 24-player server online and each team is 12 players. Imagine a guy piloting a chopper and then the SWAT/NOOSE players rappel down on the roof, then rappel down the wall and jump through the windows and kill the robbers before they get away. Wouldn't THAT be fun? Just as a conclusion, this is my personal 'wishlist' for the quite possibly best police simulator for a few years. I hope the best to G17 Media and the rest of the community. Most of these ideas might be possible. I never developed a game or a mod, but I'm looking forward to learning to model cars and textures to possibly create a Bedfordshire Police Pack (quite possibly inspired by DoupleDoppler, but creating the models and such by myself) and maybe a Chicago Police Pack (I don't seem to find any Chicago PD Packs, just a single CVPI.) Thank you for your time. -Ultra @G17 Media & others; Keep up the amazing work!

[URGENT] Need graphics help!
Try to go to the video settings and seeing if Definition is on or off. If it's off, then toggle it back on and see if it fixes it. If not, go to nvidia's homepage and get the drivers for your graphics card. If it STILL doesn't work, unistall, delete the Grand Theft Auto IV folder from Rockstar Games and (if possible) delete the savegames, then install the game again. If that doesn't fix it, not sure what could.

Local Law Enforcement Agency/Local Police Force
Bedfordshire Police (Where I currently live) ANPR Interceptor (rare, never saw one of those in action, And the standard issue one, I see those pretty much everyday. Undercover BMW The helicopter (I see one of them literally every other day). And that's it. I'm missing the van, but meh.

LCPDFR Callouts stop after a few minutes
Hello, LCPDRFR Community. I have not long ago installed the LCPDFR 0.95 R2 mod for GTA IV and my current GTA IV patch is 1.0.7.0. I have been looking for similar problems, but have failed to find any discussions regarding this matter. Whenever I play LCPDFR I stop getting callouts after playing for around 5-10 minutes. Even when I debug or busy/not busy myself, I still won't get it to work properly. Thus, I have to restart, meaning I can only get around 10 minutes of gameplay until I have to do random pullovers or parking tickets, and it gets really boring. My G17 Diagnostics have pointed out that I do not have the .asi loader, but I have installed one via the installation *dsound* Here's the full error report *only in text format so you don't have to download* BEGIN *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Diagnostics Tool Version: 0.4.3 Operating system: Windows7 HomePremium (6.1.1.0 Build: 7601) Service Pack:Service Pack 1 System RAM (GB): 3.87 CPU cores: 4 NET Framework 4.0 installed: True Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable installed: True GTA IV - Installed: True GTA IV - Install folder: C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IV GTA IV - Version: 1, 0, 7, 0 GTA IV - Asi loader installed: False GTA IV - Asi loader: GTA IV - Asi loader valid: False GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook installed: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook version: 0, 5, 1, 0 GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet installed: True GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet valid: True ===============BEGIN .NET SCRIPTHOOK LOG=============== 2013-06-01 15:30:40 - Initializing ScriptHookDotNet v1.7.1.4 BETA (GTA IV version 1.0.7.0) 2013-06-01 15:33:23 - Direct3D device created! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - SEARCHING FOR SCRIPTS... 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - Loading scripts in Assembly 'scriptsFirstResponse.net.dll' ... 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.Main.EmergencyLights'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.Main.Start'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'CSharp.Engine.Core'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.Debugging'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.DeletionList'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.Hardcore'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.TextDraw'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCMD.Main'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCMD.Functions'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.Carboot'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.Disarm'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.Frisk'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.PullOver'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.Actions'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.Debug'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.Flashlight'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.Functions'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.Partner'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.inputSimulator'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.Start'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - ...found script 'FirstResponse.LCPD.Various'! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - DONE! 21 valid scripts found! 2013-06-01 15:33:25 - STARTING SCRIPTS... 2013-06-01 15:33:26 - Error during GetPhoneNumber (Phone checks will be disabled): System.Exception: Accessing Globals failed!
