i guess, its about done with the repair so i'll give er a shot and see what happens any clue as to why direct x takes so long to "install" shouldnt it see that i have the most recent version and be done with it, update, its a no go still i suppose that means time for a reinstall

idk, its got me baffled by the fact that it was fine one minute, crashed, and now wont start gameplay, everything else loads up fine, title screen the part between the title screen and the slide show and the slide show of characters, just when it spawns me there in the safe house its just like "nope your not going to play anymore" when i do this will i have to reinstall the LCPDFR?

i put on a new car pack, but it was working for a few hours after that, and my backup car file was deleted :/

just says that GTA:IV stopped working correctly and needs to close, i run it in both admin and regular mod to no avail

come to think of it i did the other day, but ive played and had multiple autosaves as niko since then

So i was playing earlier, when my game decided to crash, alright not big deal I'll just restart it, well I do, it goes through all the loading all the way up to where i'm standing in the safehouse, before I can lift a finger it crashes again, any clues as to what I should do? everything I had installed on it was working perfectly along with the regular game play now nothing. I have a cd copy of the game, should i put that disc in then let it "repair" the files and start over?
