    Deputies were on the lookout for Manny Hanes in connection with a string of burglaries in the Northwood area. Rookie Deputy Steven Mills, found Hanes and confronted him at gunpoint. Hanes then pulled out a handgun and pointed it at Mills. Deputy Mills fired and killed the suspect. A very emotional Mills, is surrounded by his fellow deputies after the brief tense moments.

    After a crazy pursuit, a suspect rammed into a LPB patrol car that was blocking the road. With the suspect wedged, LPB swarmed in and apprehended the suspect. No injuries were reported.

    Today there was a road accident. The car is not giving way to the truck, the driver of the other car when drunk slapped the side of the truck.

    at 22:15 dispatch reported a suspicious van. He was parked on the side of the road in one of the main streets. Patrol and sheriff's deputy went to the call.
