  1. I think that they should add controls for some type of internet radio. In-game control of shoucast, pandora, itunes radio or something similar would be sweet. The real world logistics to implement that would probably be pretty crazy. That said, I never paid much attention to the in-game radio stations.
  2. So whats the turnout look like on this? Is it expanding quickly or is there plenty of room left? I may get in on this but I am unsure of my schedule for Wed and Fri. EDIT: Also, Is this just GTA4 or is it EFLC?
  3. Yes and No. You can use pictures, however you may get a bit of perspective problems in the proportions as a result. That said, blueprints are freely available all over the WWW. The majority of the tutorials out there will explain this step in the early stages. Half of my current project was done without and BP's.
  4. This is true. Hopefully, however, being a beginner won't hold anyone back from jumping in the deep end. The water is fine. I am doing it and although there were some setbacks I am still pushing forward. @OP There is a community here that is willing to help, at least, but be prepared to do some heavy lifting on your own. If you start gluing other peoples parts on other peoples cars, that won't teach you to model anything. Eventually, you will need to venture out on a different path to learn scratch modeling, why not start day one? The ONLY two things that it requires is patience (the tools, of course) and the will to do something different. The tutoring is available ALL OVER THE WWW, you just have to look for it. I will happily answer any questions you may have (that I have answers for), shoot me a PM if you need specific help.
  5. I would rather just wait and hope for GTA V. Thanks.
  6. Thanks to all that responded. I searched and searched and never came across this post, so thank you for the link. This Isnt the specific model that I was going for but it answers my questions. Unfortunately, that's what I was afraid of. Guess I will have to get creative. Thanks again to all.
  7. Well, actually, Micro$oft just started giving away free games to gold subscribers (too little too late maybe??). They gave away Fable 3 and next month Halo 3 and Assassins Creed 2. http://www.theverge.com/2013/6/10/4413668/xbox-live-gold-free-games-promotion-e3-2013 Xbox one will also have cloud saves (which is already currently on the xbox 360) They backtracked from the used game thing saying that it will be left up to the publisher NOT the 'x-bone' (peer pressure works every time) So the last major hurdle would be the connectivity thing (we have a LONG time until release so they could back peddle that one too). Honestly, I don't understand all the displays of hate towards one or the other. Simply stay informed and speak with your wallet. Unless you are crying to the manufacturer of the product in question to get them to change things for the better, is there really a point in crying at all??? Edit: Oh and X-live Gold is $40 not $60
  8. Maybe it's because you are on a dev build. They may fix the battery drain and the other issues between now and release. I will stick to the public launch for the update. Lots of times dev builds break some of the apps and I don't want to deal with that hassle. "The mobile OS from a whole new perspective" should read: The iPhone OS from and Android perspective
