  1. Dadude: LCPD:FR is designed to work on a completely clean copy of GTA:IV without any other mods. I would remove your modded cars and ELS first to see does that solve the problem. If that does not work, remove the other mods one by one until the game is "stable" so you can find out what was causing the problem.
  2. Bit ambigious.... try giving some system specs. What other mods do you have? Is an error message displayed?
  3. Do you have a legitimate copy of the game?
  4. You should make your own post, this is thread hi-jacking! OP: Do you have the .Net Framework 4 (32-bit) installed?
  5. Try running as an admin, failing that..... Open your Control Panel and System settings. Click Advanced System Settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. Under Performance, click Settings. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select. To turn off DEP for an individual program (such as GTAIV) Select the check box next to the program that you want to turn off DEP for, and then click OK. If the program is not in the list, click Add. Browse to the Program Files folder, find the executable file for the program and then click Open. I admit, this was copied from Windows Help and Support and modified a little.
  6. Oh fail! I have no idea why I put Taurus there!!
  7. Fair do's. Talking of civillian vehicles being converted to Police vehicles, has a police car ever been converted for a civillian model on GTAIV, also, why do Birds fly?
  8. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1545 I currently use this taurus in place of the NOoSE Patriot
  9. But why? People never cease to amaze me.
  10. But why would you want a car "that looks like a Crown Vic" when there are actual CVPIs available?
  11. Traffic Cops, Motorway Cops, Police Camera Action, CHiPs, COPs, Road Wars, Police Interceptors
  12. I am currently trying to get rid of a message in LCPDFR (A new version if available: 0.95 RC2) by re-installing, however, the installer throws up these errors at the end.... Installation component 'LCPDFirstResponse' error'd! at G17MediaSetupEngine.Stuff.MakeServiceCall(String urloverride) at G17MediaSetupEngine.Installation_Components.LCPDFRComponent.endComponent() at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) Edit: Oh never mind, I got third time lucky and managed to re-install successfully! Sorry for wasting anyone's time!
  13. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1649 Cooey!
  14. I think most of you have completely misheard the question...what PMB is asking is will LCPD:FR still be "made" for GTA IV after GTA V is released. Most of you seem to think that he is asking will the developers be making an equivalent version for GTA V.
  15. After a long absensce of around 10 months or so, I finally gave into temptation and reinstalled GTAIV and LCPDFR. Tried SAPDFR on GTA: San Andreas, but it isn't anywhere near as fun. My reason for uninstalling in the first place was because LCPDFR/GTAIV kept crashing and I also kept getting the "Memory Leak/No texture" problem, (no fault of the developers, my laptop is a tad bit underpowered!!). For some reason, the game is a lot more stable this time round, even with car mods and ELS installed, may there be any reason for this?
  16. Awesome! These are also in use by the East Of England Ambulance service RRVs.
  17. As it's in the UK, and it's a private company, it will be a case of "profits before protection"!
  18. The police would not feel part of the community if they were privatised, more like a business.....
  19. I'm more worried about public relations/police oppression!
  20. But in here they DO want the firms to do investigations and respond to calls...that's a very worrying thought...
  21. Firstly, I wouldn't usually make such an urgent sounding thread, but an article i've read on the Independent's website (UK Newspaper) is utterly terrifying and MUST NOT continue to happen.... http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/mar/02/police-privatisation-security-firms-crime?fb=native&CMP=FBCNETTXT9038 Now I know that there are quite a lot of you from the US, but would you feel safe with a privatised police force?!
  22. I've had LCPDFR since 0.91 back in June 2011! Always enjoyed it since! Thank you developers! :) I downloaded v0.95RC2 quite a while ago, before xmas I believe.
  23. Oh lol i only got there by pressing the wrong key combo for forced call-outs (Alt+F12 instead of Alt+F11).
