Mapping emissive lights to match lightbar.
Greetings everyone, I'm using a Ford CVPI with a Whelen Edge lightbar and I'm trying to customise the lightbar to what Suffolk County Police Department (NY) has. Well I think I've done a decent job on the lightbar texture (I believe the transparent sectors are supposed to be clear/white), however I'm confused as to how to map the default emissive lights to go with the customised lightbar colours. If anyone can help explain what I need to retexture it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Increasing the range of which a custom car model loads.
Unfortunately that didn't help, I think Sgt. Kanyo is right, I'm going to have to PM the author, but the model is locked! I hope he has access to it.

Increasing the range of which a custom car model loads.
Greetings! I've found a Ford Taurus model that I've become very fond of but I have one issue: the model won't load until I'm within 75-100 feet of it, outside that range all I see is the tyres, glow from the tail lights, and the people in it that are sitting on air. I've tried increasing the view distance and such in game options, but it hasn't helped at all. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could increase the range of which the model loads? Thanks!

Ottawa Police Ford Taurus
Could someone well-versed in the way of automobiles tell me which year this Taurus is? Those subtle differences between versions decide whether the car I have will work with this or not.

Bad Snow on east coast
As someone who was born and raised in New York and moved to North Carolina, I can definitely say the "state of emergency" that was declared was warranted, It is certainly NOT because of lack of effort on the local and state governments part that is causing the problem but lack of resources and experience. I remember when I lived up in New York, we usually got a foot or two of snow in a DAY just around Christmas alone, that was normal, and the state was well equipped and experienced enough to deal with it. However that is NOT the case at all in North Carolina, the last time besides now in recent memory we got this much snow was several years ago (what was it, 2009? 2010?) and that was just as much as a hampering on travel (and everything) as it is now. As someone said earlier in the topic, for those who are used to the snow: Good for you, you have the resources and experience to deal with it easily and keep going on with your day no problem. However again, down here in the usually sunny (and in my opinion, too hot in summer) South, we are NOT used to snow. It doesn't snow all winter, hell we can't even get a few flakes on Christmas, but we get hit with this crap in FEBRUARY and what do you expect us to do? We are underequipped and inexperienced in handling this weather, but we're doing the best we can with what we have and in my opinion, that's all that counts. Just my two cents.

One Last Ride, Mass Police K9 laid to rest
I had to put my dalmatian/ labrador mix, Cinco, to sleep in 2011. I held her in my arms as they did it, I've never cried as much my entire life as I did that moment. But I started to again as I read this article and remembered. Trooper Coscia has my deepest and most sincere sympathies and condolences. When faced with the worst, the only option we have; is to remember them and move forward, that's what they would've wanted us to do.

Vanilla Police patriot (ELS)
Oi mate, you got permission from the guys you cited in the credits before you uploaded this, right? Just checking, I don't want to see you get chewed out if you hadn't, because developers are VERY protective of their works and will freak out if someone besides them uploads their works... You definitely made the right call by crediting the developers themselves though, at the least...

NSA? LCPDFR?
When I read the title, I was first thinking you were asking if there were National Security Agency skins for GTA IV lol. As far as the N.S.A. spying on the LCPD:FR website, they indeed may. Primarily and probably only to look out for people whom they believe might try to impersonate police officers. But I doubt they really care as the vast majority of people on here are simply police fans and enthusiasts that support law enforcement which if anything, would be something the N.S.A. would appreciate. As far as spying on you in the actual game, I'm not exactly sure how they would even go about doing that (check your crime statistics? lol). From my knowledge of the government as an American citizen, I believe the N.S.A. is only concerned with monitoring individuals that may have links to an extremist group, such as Al Qaeda.

Crazy move by even crazier pedestrian
And people wonder why the LCPD is so trigger happy.... >_<

Liberty City Police Skin Pack #1
Eh, people may complain about the "blatant red stripe" but several police departments have adopted similarly "flamboyant" liveries for their squad cars, "To each, their own" in my opinion. I personally smiled when I saw the crossed American and Canadian flags, Go North America!
